One question about your gloves .. how did those Diraskin gloves with the heavy mechanic job . .? grease, gas, oil .?
They're not ideal. Pretty good with the grease and oil, little less good with gas. They are a little porous so lighter liquids make it through just a little.
I got them because a local warehouse store had LOADS of them for super cheap. For what I paid, I don't mind them at all.
Adam...I'm about to purchase a Thule rack system and have a question for ya. Do I need the model# 387 high gutter foot system (I believe 8" of clearance) to clear my factory roof rack OR can I still clear the factory roof rack with the model# 300 system? What model is your towers and what length are your bars? Basically, I want your exact setup. Any / all help is really appreciated...
Here's an interesting thought...well, not really but...
You have the Early SF rear. It looks likes you also have factory R134a A/C by the position of the A/C dryer.
My 93 has the full floater (no OEM lockers) but the R12. What month is your 93?
So I've had to deal with some A/C issues lately (had to replace the compressor/drier) so I needed to verify the manufacture date because the compressor is different on '93s since it was a transition year. Turns out my Cruiser was built on July 4, 1993. How's that for being Patriotic?![]()
