I would like to get my roof done in as close to blue as possible. So when I get a roof rack I wont have to worry about waxing the roof anymore.

Got me some Durabak samples. I confirmed, again, from the guy on the phone who said "we really are not supposed to discuss it, but..."
Herculiner is Durabak, but only availalbe in non-UV protected, black, textured. Durabak 18 denoted the uv-protection added in the formula, and can go into the smooth or textured. The texture is from fine granules of recycled car tires.
Here are the samples. Black, Dark Gray and Light Gray. With some effort, I could peel the Durabak off of the aluminum, starting at the corner, which was not scratched up at all to help with adhesion, so with good prep on steel, I think it would be much harder to pull up. It appears that the Durabak samples are single coats, and feel and look like very thick and chunky fruit roll-ups on very thick aluminum foil. The smooth truly is shiny, and looks like a sheet of wet rubber. My fingerprints were visible on the swatch.
Looks like I'm going with rough black exterior, rough dark gray interior. I may go with dark gray to go above the black exterior, but not sure I want the whole truck to be textured...

Those swatches look good, but I'm not sure I'd want the truck to be that glossy. It will look great once you get it on I bet!
Yeah, I don't think the smooth would go well as an exterior application. Maybe flooring...
I just recently got my interior line-x'd and they sprayed smooth on the back of the plastic kick panels- textured in the front. I asked why and they said it saves money for something you wont see- i also asked if i could get smooth sprayed all over the plastic to keep the oem look and make them stronger. They said spraying the smooth gives very bad results and is runny and not very consistent since it doesnt have the texture. Looking at the smooth sprayed side i agree- it doesnt look very good- not an even coating. I dont know if the application is any different with herc/rhino but just something to think about.
here is my 62 with linex on rockers. It was done about a year ago with no issues
I have had no issues with fading, even after a good scrubbing to get mud and georgia clay out.

I was orginally quoted 450 and I jumped on it. After the work the guy said he would charge 850 for a job like this again. The linex he sprayed was a good thick coat but you really do not notice it because of the lines. I ended up tipping him a 100 extra because of the work. total was 550.
I would imagine if you did some of the sanding etc yourself(very easy) and removed lens etc yourself it would a very reasonable investment, I lucked out and just got a great quote.

Yours is pretty close to what I'd like to do with mine, only I've been thinking of using Second Skin's new bed liner and doing it myself. I need to find a good way to prep it though. Be nice if I could mask it, clean it and use a solvent that would etch the paint enough for the liner to adhere well. Dunno if that's an option though...

If you don't mind another "rhino" in NorCal, I'm seriously considering lining the entirety of my '84 60. I keep telling my kids, " see that one there, "now that's a pickup...the one with the dirt and scratches.....and you see that shiny one....it's a sports-car."
Might consider a single horn as hood ornament....we'll see. Thanks for the inspiration. 
It looked nice and fresh, I would not have guessed it had been on so long. Nice to meet ya btw.

I wanted to get my rig on is thread just to help folks see various approaches. Mine is black Armorthane sprayed on hot by a professional shop. $350 but I took the bumpers and headlight bezels off. Also did away with the snake blinders. I also cleaned up the wheel wells and covered them with Herculiner just before they applied the Armorthane. It has held up well after about a year. I had no rust on the body but lots of rock dings.

Never heard of Armorthane, but I am liking the appearance better than any of the competitors. Anyone have photos of the new Second Skin product applied?
I don't know if its been mentioned but you can get Durabak bedliner in a variety of different colors. It pains me to put a picture of my Jeep on a Yota board, but heres an example.
It matched the paint almost perfectly.
Its kind of hard to see the texture but it is pretty consistent. I should have mixed it more as I was applying it though.
