This was a nasty spot. Welded in some sheet metal and now fiberglass. Should be pretty nice when done. Won't even know :hmm:

Door Jamb Done

:D:DDoor Jamb is ready now for paint. The guy helping me with the bodywork is going to be gone for 2-3weeks, so I have to focus on the chassis.
Thanks Tim.....come and get that Rotisssssssss . I'm going to need it again some day for that 69 I've got....

He's going through some crazy divorce right now and it's harder and harder to get him over here. That's why he's going to take a break for 2-3 weeks.....When he finally finishes, I'll let him know your interested.

Steering next

We've got the box mounted. Going to still plate the frame for more support. Steering linkage next. Using Chromoly tube with Heims. Panhard should be fun:crybaby:

I've got tape holding up the doors.... I have not rebuilt my hinges yet. Looking to be doing that soon. Saw a thread on a good way to do it somewhere on mud....

Well done sir. Very impressed with the turn out. Some day I would like make the body on pig that clean. I have been watching this thread for sure. If my rear window fights me more I am very tempted to plug in the sawzall and remove the need for the tailgate window to roll up.

Super idea! Can't wait to see a pic of that!!!

Old Roll Cage is out!!!

We'll, unbolted the 20yr old roll cage made from 1-7/8"OD x .190"wall 304 stainless pipe........ what?? Going to replace with a 1-3/4"OD x .095"wall 4130 Chromoly Cage. Not going to go overkill, but needs to attach to the frame in a few spots.. It will create the shape of the new soft top I'll have made.. Keeping it kinda fastback looking, but with some room in back.
