Reproduction Door Panel Pictures Please

I've placed an order for some re-pop door and cargo panels for my 79 but I'm struggling with the final decision on the shade of gray I want (keep on subject please). Hoping to see some real, installed examples from light to dark gray or black.

As much as my groovy green interior has grown on me I think it's time go a little more original;

Did the 79 model year have carpeted panels or is that a PO thing?
I did black vinyl on mine, easy to hose off after an excursion in the woods.

I prefer the Flip Flops myself but most here seem to include Sandals in their pig part pictures.

Very happy with my replacement door panels for my 79. A little spendy but after installation I was justified in the purchase as they are top notch panels and makes the interior come together. I sent the dude a sample of my original panels and he hooked me up - perfect match. I just left town x8 days so cant provide pics. There may be some under Cargo Project that might be helpful. If not, just PM me in a week or so.

Not at all, just looking for some direction. Trying to decide on how dark to go on the panels and what will work best with the SOR seat kit.

Interior schemes can be pretty touchy. If you don’t plan on a top to bottom makeover, then I would gravitate back towards the OEM scheme, since that’s what will help with your overall resale down the line.
