Thanks for all the input guys. I had a local glass company cut and install for $112. They did cut one corner a bit loose but with the gasket it should be fine. I can live with it.

Some vendor out there ought to offer a paper "pattern" for the glass for those of us who don't have an old windshield to give to the glass shops. I would pay $20 for one!

where are you guys getting the gaskets? I need one for my 67.
Did any of you get tinted glass in the upper part?
Just curious on this rope trick. Anyone care to enlighten? Thanks,
Jonny
We sell the OEM gaskets, if you have a 67' you will need the seal lock also,
Toyota Land Cruiser Seal / Weatherstrip - Windshield - 1966 - 12/1974
Toyota Land Cruiser Seal / Weatherstrip Windshield Seal Lock - 1966 - 12/1974
For 75 - 84 You need this:
Toyota Land Cruiser Seal / Weatherstrip - Windshield - 1975 - 1984
So the seal lock is only necessary for a 1967 model year?
Very cool. Thank you sir
