OCD bikini top replacement suggestions (1 Viewer)

Hey looking for a few suggestions on a new bikini (bimini) top. I have an older OCD that I love and looking for a similar one made out of that heavy Cordura style material and that I can get in army green color. I’m just trying to stay away from that cheap slick style material like the bra I had in the 90s on my 1985 S-10 Blazer.

I don’t know about army green but my Spector bikini top has held up well so far. I don’t drive it a ton but it stays on year round.

Dye or paint a white one. Perhaps laminate on a green layer of fabric.

Go into a boat cover shop with your old one and they should be able to make one for you.

I don’t know about army green but my Spector bikini top has held up well so far. I don’t drive it a ton but it stays on year round.

Mine is a Spector also; it came with this truck when I bought it in 2008, and is still holding up well (though I don't use it all year long).

It's a gray color though - don't know if they have an olive drab option.

As far as the Spector, how’s the material quality? Does it have much of that center sag?

The material is quite thick, some kind of heavy marine vinyl. My 40 has a MetalTech Jackson roll cage with center bars between the A and B pillars, so I couldn't say about the potential sag. It does flap a little at highway speed.

Mine just has a 3/4” emt B pillar holding it up. It flaps around some, but between it and the half doors rattling, I just tune it all out lol.
I’m sure I could get it tighter if the straps weren’t going around the seats but I don’t drive it much at freeway speeds so it’s not that much of an issue.
