Anyone know if there are (bluetooth like) tactile controls that can be added to existing steering wheel that will allow me to remote control audio. Like volume up/down, change channel etc.

I used a Tundra steering wheel (also same as Highlanger/4runner, Camry also fits) that also has phone buttons on it. I used an clockspring from I think Camry (ebay ~12 bucks) that took a little modification to fit. Also a PAC module to connect steering wheel controls to stereo. I don't have any pics and I meant to do a write up but never got around to it.

Anyone have anymore info or a write-up on this mod?

Yes, inquiring minds want to know. Atleast what year tundra steering wheel I should be looking for. I need the audio hand controls.

I read somewhere that there was an airbag compatibility issue using the tundra or Camry steering wheel.

What kind of modifications did you have to do to the clock spring? Do you remember?

Just tab trimming, nothing major. If you get one and compare to stock it's pretty easy to tell.
