These steering wheels don't need a tool. Loosen the center nut but don't remove it. Smack the backside of fhe wheel, it'll pop off the splines, but won't smack you in the pie hole because the nut is preventing that. Easy peasy.

Yeah that’s why I tried but it wouldn’t work so I went to the good ole method of wiggling until it gives, or until you get pissed off and break it

They do, you have to adjust one of the tabs on one of the horns

Put pressure on the wheel with your knees and tap the bolt works also

Ya, that's a long haul.
I do have friends that come from the East coast and Canada. Cruise Moab is a great event that everyone should try to make at least once. Maybe next year !
