I am pretty stoked how stock it looks. Most people don't notice at first...Then go "cool wheels...hey are those coil springs?" ...

I am stoked to finish up and get working on some trick bumpers...

As for tires I am either thinking 33s or 35s AT's BFGs...

I smacked my drivers headlamp so hard Sat night it spun 90 degrees in the core support.


Roundeye lamp never even winced..

Hey where are your pizza cutters at?? Out of anyone of us that has them it should be you...You could always one up me and get the Interco 34 by 9.5s or are they 10.5s....Either way they are some big pizza cutters.

255/85 16's would be sweet.

Although these would require 16" wheels.

My next set of tires will be prob be the 33x.9.5 15" bfg.

Alrighty...

I Jammed out today for quite a while as well. This will prob be the last update for the weekend so I'll try to make it good.

If you guys have not picked up yet I got a set of 33 x 9.5 Pizza Cutter BFG A/Ts on the way....


I also went ahead and made a new front drive shaft. I had to shorten it 4 inches, I also had to use the 62 series u-joint at one end and the 80 series on the other. Although most of the time the 80 series trucks where upgraded this would not be the case. If you look at the driveshaft in the picture you can see that one U-joint is smaller (the 80 series one). The drive shaft bolts for the 80 series side are also smaller. Anywho thats done with and now bolted up...

I also pulled the drive flanges off from the 80 series kunckles, I never had so much trouble with cone washers...I am willing to bet they have not been off in a long while. After I got the old drive flanges off I went and pulled out the set of Aisin Hubs I had cleaned up a while ago and bolted them up. I really dig the fact of how low profile they sit with the 80 series rims.

Only I could manage to pull off a completely flat belly pan on my DD and not on my rock wag But I did...the crossmember is in (sorry bout the bad pic) .. It is made from 1/4 wall square stock and 1/4 plate steel.

So now there are no more jack stands or jacks holding the drivetrain up in the rear.. I am stoked. It is really starting to take shape. With everything now bolted in place and nothing supported by jackstands the truck now sits perfetly level.....another plus.

I started in on the exhaust today...Its more complicated then orginally planned but most things are. I was under the impression I would be able to reuse my old down pipes that where in good condition.....Nope....They interfer with a body mount and slider tube. So a ALL new exhaust must be made..

Thats all for now...Got a bunch of other little doodads done but nothing worth mentioning...
