It’s getting closer. PNW 60s series clubhouse near Crater Lake... 🤣

Went to GBE mandrel bending in Clackamas. Wanted a SS exhaust tip to extend out further. They could get one for $60 but the guy said he’d make me one with the 3” clamp for $20 cash.

Need to cut the tip at a 45 but a lot better.
Also been rolling with license plate hidden behind the tire so I mounted on the ladder rack.

I like it. Out of the way and cleaner than mounting on the spare or back of the bumper.

Did my husband duties for my :princess: yesterday.Took the Dodge and went over to Wamic and picked up 7 tons of hay. Was an awesome drive over the mountain.

Nice part was not needing to buck hay out of the field. These bales are 3 strand and weigh average 114 pounds.

The drive home went great other than my PacBrake blew the fuse again even after running a #8 ground wire from the PacBrake to the negative post on the battery.

At home with 10-1/2 tons after unloading 3-1/2 tons at my wife’s moms house. The Dodge is a Powerhouse.

When I removed my fuel neck to take out the diesel rejection flapper I ordered both OEM gaskets and replaced the one at the one where you fill up and the one where the neck goes through the body to the tank.

Also ran a new fuel line with T-clamps to the fuel tank while I was there.

Mine through the body was completely missing. This has allowed years of dust to accumulate in the body cavity.
Cleaned out the inside and used shop vac to remove all the debris that had settled.

If your fuel neck gasket is missing I suggest checking inside your body and see what’s down there. A perfect location for body rust to start from the inside out.

Other than the dirt and dust mine looked and felt smooth. If moisture can get in there it wouldn’t be good.

Removed console and 60s parking brake.

The 80 axle is wider so the 60s parking brake doesn’t work. Replaced the parking brake. Put down a bead of silicone to provide a new seal for the brake lever.

The 60s BRAKE light switch has a two wire connection, while the 80s has one?

Anybody know where the other wire connects too

Did you replace the parking brake handle with one from an80? If so, why? The 80 cable bolts up to the 60 handle.

The 80s lever has a bent tab on the passenger side. I thought if I drilled another hole in the brake switch bracket I could get it to fit and have the lever hit the switch. It worked. 80s lever and 60s switch. Just need to splice in some more wire and it’ll work.

Dude, your setup is awesome too. You’ve been the number one follower Mike through the build and seen how Snowball❄️ has transformed. It’s awesome rolling around and getting the Toyota nod from fellow Toyota enthusiasts. I’m not sure many know it’s packing a Cummins under the hood.

Dang, less than 300 egts. What are you usually shutting your engine off at?

My drive down my mile long gravel road home usually gives it plenty of time to cool off. At or below 400F.
Advancing the timing has dropped EGT climbing hills. In the 1000-1100F range instead of pushing over 1200F.

180.6 miles and still a full tank... in the 2F I’d make 230-240 in the entire tank. Since advancing the timing I’m also blowing a lot less black smoke and better mpg’s.
