Hi all! I’m new to the group and just got me ‘79 LC FJ43. I’m working on a new alternator and just saw that the previous owner modified the bracketing, cut the wire harnesses and re-wired to make it work. 🙄

Installed some proper recovery points... rear and front (front has 2 recovery points only one is shown) Also extended the rear diff breather to behind the gas door area

I have been thinking about this mod as well just not sure how it will be in a tight parking area... I will have to inspect yours to see!
So far so good! It’s only been a day so hopefully the strut will last a long time. Got tired of the door not staying open when it supposed to! I think guiding the door open and close should keep it in good working order.

Pretty good episode of Matt’s Off-road Recovery of an 80 series rolling over and still driving out.

Man, you got some kinda LC addiction! 😂

I’m in Santa Fe, NM this weekend and there’s quite a few nice LC’s on the streets. A 2020 Heritage Edition, a mid 80’s 60, a funked out diesel Defender, and some cool metal art.

Early 90's s-10 blazer. This and the stock fuel pump module for tbi to match the engine (tbi 350) The later ones work on higher pressure.
