Apparently I can’t actually run any of the cool vintage plate frames I just bought because DC designs their plates so that the frame covers up the part that says “Washington, DC”. Thanks DC!

Also, I just tracked down a 1amp parasitic draw this morning that had me jump start my truck twice this month. It’s from the electric mirrors. They also shorted out a couple months ago and were blowing fuses. I turned off the auto tilt function and ordered new mirror actuators. This is a known issue on the GX470. I think mine happened because I was manually folding the mirrors each day when parked and it must have worn through the soy based wires:

First coat of epoxy went down this morning. One more to go and cut in the edges! I power washed and etched it yesterday then ran the heater and fans all night.

You'll need a floor jack to get that baby up into place!!! Actually I use a floor jack whenever I need to remove/re-install my Ironpig skid plate.

Yeah that or a transmission jack but it looks like it would stop a IED too donuts got that going for it.

I’m getting pretty tired of dropping mine onto my chest every time I need to dump the gear oil out to put new oil in! I’d drill some drain holes but then everybody would know my junk leaks.

Don’t know of a better thread to put this on, but my 60 has been stuck at OTRAMM for far too long and now it needs to get back to ruckersville. Buddy who helped me get it there is unavailable, and I’ve been asking around locally but haven’t found any help. Don’t have 7 pin in my 100 so local trailer place won’t let me rent, and uhaul says towing a 60 with a 100 is a big no no . Really need to get it soon, anybody willing to help pull it home? Can pay for gas and time... (60 is a pos and does not run at the moment)

If you rent a vehicle trailer from uhaul tell them you're towing a miata and they'll always rent you one.

I've literally had AAA pay for dozens of land cruisers being towed over the years. I've even had them pick up two trucks at a time more than once. My current membership (in my wife's name as I am an associate member) shows we are each allowed four tows of less than 100 miles every calendar year. I never mind making the dues check out to AAA every year.
And I must say although I've seen land cruisers being towed on U-Haul trailers as I recall a 60 series seems to be a pretty tight fit.

When it was originally towed to OTRAMM ^^ Goldilocks trailer. Just right!
ill sign up for AAA, for some reason doesn’t seem like something ppl my age have (yet) so I never really hear about it, and end up forgetting about it until i need it.
