You forgot to mention the jet engine on the rear. You a got 2f to do that jump?!?!
 
will do luckily it's only finger tight lol, I just wish that all I had left to do. Can't wait to get it finished.

Franken40 - '72 - IPOR FJ60 Power Steering mod, MAF Discs, 2H Diesel, 4-speed, split transfer case, LED lighting, OME springs & shocks, Mile Marker 9,000# winch, custom rear bumper, full float rear axle, 22 gal rear tank (removed the stock one).

Still have a few things to add...

1976 FJ40

I drive it pretty much every day.

1976 (10/75) FJ40, desmoggged 2F, stock 4 speed & t-case, Saginaw PS, full float rear, cable lockers F&R, Aqualu 3/4 tub, MAF/4+ rear bumper/tire carrier, Hawkdriver front bumper, Warn 8274, OME Dakkar 2.5" lift, BFG MT-KM2 33s on Pro-Comp alloy rims.

Thanks man. So far, I've been at it for two years now. I suspect that it will be at least another year to go on the work. But now it's pretty solid.

Five years later and still learning

I purchased this 1978 FJ40 five years ago. It was held together with chicken wire in some places, and had natural air conditioning from all of the rust holes. It has been an on and off project because of two deployments and a divorce. But I think she is looking good now and running fine. I have learned so much from reading posts here on MUD and the list of people to thank for all their knowledge and input is long and distinguished. There were many times that I wanted to just give up and sell it, but following the advice of long time Mudders they helped put things into perspective. Anyways just wanted to say thanks to all.
