Hey all James here again, wanting a few people to post up what they have got on in the way of wheels and tyre's with a 2 inch lift kit. I own a 1993 80 series so the wheels i will be running are 16's.

Just testing water at the moment so want an idea what to get for my 80 Series that now has a 2 inch lift kit!

Also welcoming any input you have in regards to running certain tyre sizes and why.

My personal opinion is to run 33's so i have full clearance off roading, no plans to be going full on off roading just something to beat around in at the batch maybe Wood Hill forest in Auckland, New Zealand.

Thanks for your time and happy posting!

I have 35's and can tuck them without issue unless its REALLY pushed up into the rear well. No cutting/trimming was done either. I added some photos below of different stages my cruiser has gone through.

OME Medium load springs and associated OME shocks. Tires are 315/75R16.

OME 850J w/ 1" spacer and 863J's. No roof rack which eliminates at least 100lbs of weight.

Don't know if that helps at all. :meh:

315s

Thanks guys that has actually answered ALOT of questions, I was pondering on the thought of how much clearance I would ACTUALLY have running 35s and it seems as though there's alot of room to work with, especially for what I plan on doing.

OME 850 Heavy front, 860 Medium rear on 285's. Looking to go with 315's next month and 1.5 Metaltech coil spacer

OP, also be aware flares can make a big difference in appearance of lift. I'm running 2" with 315s and it looks much taller than most of these, no flares. I'll try to get a pic soon.

Not to hijack this thread!
Could you guys post a roof height after lift? I'm trying to determine if I will fit the average parking garage
Thanks

i only know cause i barely scrap by in my office garage but with 37s and a slee 4" lift my roof is around 6'9, i believe 6'11 is usual garage height.

OME 850/860 with 285's.

Loaded up with a week's worth of stuff, the medium rears were barely adequate.

Going to be switching to 863's hopefully before rubithon this year.

Man, that's a great looking rig!!

850/860s here too with 285s. Vehicle is loaded with four guys stuff for 3 days. It stuffs perfectly with the 285s. Not sure how you'd get a 315 to stuff this well without making modifications to the bump stops.

Yours looks great too! Almost identical to mine! Your paint looks nicer though, my hood has none left:confused:

This is stock height OME springs, 30 mm spacers all around with 295 tires

My setup. 285s on stock rims, duh! TJM front springs with 20mm spacer, OME 863 rear 5mm spacer. Fox 2.0. 285s easily stuff up inside the wells.

Here are some stuffed 285s touching the bumpstops. (The rear has a 40mm bumpstop drop) I can reach in the wheel well in the rear and get my hand around the whole tire so it can still go up I believe.

Awsome rigs guy's, have enjoyed checking out all your picture's! Am currently looking at a set of near new silverstones mt117 sports and the spare will be a grizzly grip pinnacle M/T, anyone have any experience or knowledge of these ?

Hi there Surf n Turf.
I run 285/75R16 BFG MTR KM2's on my truck. No problems with clearances and the speedo is pretty close only 3 kmhr out at 100ks.

I also have a set of 34" Simex Jungle Trekkers that fit ok and only rub when it gets a bit silly on the tracks.

2.5'' with 30mm spacers in front. 265/75R16 Mastercraft AXT, looking to go bigger after about 2 years.

285's on OME full heavy lift with 30mm MAF front spacers. Nice and level :)
Second picture is after I removed the roof rails and rear spoiler.
