I have a mac-ride for my littles and they absolutely love it. Its like riding an 80lb bike with the COG way too high. This is my solution for kids. Just have to wait a few months before she can sit in it. Its 9months +

nice! we are looking to use that one once she gets a little older, this is the only one you can use under a year. I tested it with a bag of potatoes after i installed it and you are right with the cog being high. Felt super weird hahaI have a mac-ride for my littles and they absolutely love it. Added a trailer recently too…he fell asleepView attachment 3217939
oh nice you used the exact same seat too. Thats reassuring!Kid loved it... but truth be told I had a hard tail bike and installed a beach cruiser handle bar... this allowed me a better sitting position...I used the Yepp mini
There’s like this $2,000 trailer that only has one wheel and it’s got an air shock with compression and rebound adjustment on it. I probably won’t ever buy that, but there’s a guy on YouTube in BC that takes it down some decent green trails and it seems to work really well. $2,000 though?…..Our daughters hated the trailer. It would double bounce them on any bumps on the gravel path we liked to take them on. We started with the thule ridealong chair on my cromag rootdown, and then moved up to the mac ride.
my gsd would freak the hell out if i tried to use a trailer. That is awesome!

Love our Mac Ride. We started my first on it when he was almost two and started the second at about 17 months. My oldest is almost three now and rocks his Strider. This is about 99% of my bike time during this season of life:I have a mac-ride for my littles and they absolutely love it. Its like riding an 80lb bike with the COG way too high.
Are you liking the strider, say vs a pedal bike with training wheels?Love our Mac Ride. We started my first on it when he was almost two and started the second at about 17 months. My oldest is almost three now and rocks his Strider. This is about 99% of my bike time during this season of life:

Good to know. That makes a lot of sense. We were going to go balance bike route i thinkWell he's my first child so I don't actually know. But he loves it and I feel like his balance is really good starting with the mac ride and now the strider. Supposedly using a balance bike instead of training wheels teaches the child to balance before pedaling which is actually the hard part about riding a bike. He coasts down dirt hills and over tree roots with ease and rarely crashes these days. Check out this website: Homepage - https://www.twowheelingtots.com/
