Riding mountian bikes since 1983, work on bikes and on the industry for years, at the moment I have 31 build (well 5 my wife) and my run eNT favorite it is the orbea ( are few brands use similar design..

What a freaking frame..

I love HOPE Brakes, very much a motorcycle system, easy to work and super dependable and with great adjustability in terms of ergonomics.

One problem running old school part with new frames is the routing of the angles, a vinatge "ROllamagic" problem solved.

Gallery is here, I never mess around when I build a bike, king hubs, maverick SC32 form, strong as much as possible, hope dual pod brakes..

3 weeks ago = Bike crash / Knocked out / Concussion / Head Trama / Priority 1 Alpha ~ $29k in CT scans alone.

$100 661 Recon helmet ~ It only got a few scratches on the visor. New Bell full face MIPS Super R3

Slowed my on the bike training down but allowed me to focus more on gym time.

hurt my self way more on my bicycles than
My
Motorcycles

Get better soon

Thanks ~ I am healing fast and doing better (Head is 98% Left hand is 85%). I managed to put in 33 miles yesterday at 14mph + off road

At least the Niner weighs less than the Husky.

Last bad MC crash (2014 Shenandoah 500 DS ride) I went down off road on a granite shelf and caught my pinky under the hand guard and it became the slider ~ degloved @ 3rd knuckle up / twised back toward my wrist / broken in 3 places. I rode the Husqvarna 610 down off of the mountian. The bicycle crash I do not remember anything until i was in the back of the ambulance 45 min later.

Damn dude... yeah heal quickly. I have not been on my bike since the break in July. Of course as soon as I was cleared we started getting massive storms and everytime I would go to ride we were doing something elsewhere.

Of course, then there is they GYM (as homer says it... oh the GU-EYE-M)... Yeah gotta start hitting that..

I survived Monstercross, all 50 miles ~ 1 of 700+ at the event and the only one to race the event in a Full Face Helmet.

Finished up 50 miles in 3:37 @ Just over 14 mph avg. Still toying with bike fit ~ but it didn't kill me.

One of the few paved sections (Boat ramp climb to the parking lot finish) @ 49.85 in. (2nd pic below is looking up this climb from the boat ramp)

Prayers go out for the lady who needed to be medivac'd with head trauma and is still in ICU. Suspicions are that she may have struck a tree along a faster single track section of the course.

congrats, well done! That's a great avg speed.

Sold the EVIL. Added a Pipeline.

Always been firmly in the 29 camp but must say, the 27.5+ warms my heart........ Most travel I've ever had on a bike.
