Henry

So, this is Henry my 2.5 year old German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP). A GSP is basically the shorthaired version of the German Wirehaired Pointer. Anyway, Henry was a rescue from a GSP Rescue Association. I was lucky enough to get him when he was about 10 months old; the rescue believes he was a hunting dog in training that got lost. Anyway, he is the perfect hunting partner and follows any command you give him from verbal commands "left", "right", "hold", etc. all the way to whistle and hand signals. To say he is frustrated that he cannot hunt in Hong Kong is an understatement. Sorry, there isn't a picture of Henry with my 80 but, the two are separated by thousands of miles. However; Henry loves the back of the 80 and has his own bed back there. This is a shot from last weekend at one of the beaches in Hong Kong.

Bought this 80 in January and, since we live in the UK most of the year, I didn't get to see it until this week when I had to go to the US on business. It's fantastic and will be a great ride during the summer when we're at the beach!

We gave both of these dogs to my sister. We gave her the blue roan, Willy, 3 years ago (he's a bit over 3 now), and I just delivered the orange roan, Henry, to her from the UK this week. He's 1. We own the dam in the UK and both are out of the same UK stud dog.

Photos of this 80 with our English Cockers will have to wait until we move home!
