Pig Party Adventurers!
With a lot of scouting activity from Jake & Jeff, we have a slightly different set of trails due to snow melt in some of the higher elevations. There will be dirt and some pavement between dirt for this year’s event culminating in a Sunday morning drive through Grand Teton National Park. High level map picture below for a rough idea of where we will be going. We expect 10 rigs and about 16 people. See updated post below.

Thursday
Meet at the campsite location any time during this arrival day. Will be good to greet old friends and meeet new ones. If all goes well, Jake may drop off his caper at the campsite to “reserve” our group spot
GPS coordinates just south of Smoot, WY:

I understand some may be staying in a hotel in Afton this first night before the long weekend.

Friday
Group Breakfast 7:45am = Jake & Jeff will be making us all breakfast burritos!!!
Trail Guide Kick-Off Instructions / driver meeting 8:30am
Start on the Trail 9:00am
Lunch on trail
Dinner at Jazz Burgers in Etna Lake but you can cook you own meal if preferred
After dinner we will have about 1.5 more hours on dirt with some good golden hour scenery going over a mountain pass. We should arrive at the evening campsite during light time to set up camp and talk about Land Cruisers around the fire.

Saturday
Breakfast on you own
About a 4 hour loop on the trail then back to pavement to drive through Jackson. There is a mildly technical trail we will take after Jackson with unique views of the Tetons.
Lunch on trail
Depending on the time we can do some exploring in GTNP or explore Grey’s River from the north with more time on the trail.
Dinner at camp or there is a pizza place with outdoor seating with more views of the Tetons then make way to camp.

Sunday
Break camp, explore more of GTNP, say goodbyes, and head home. Some may even consider driving out the north end of GTNP heading to Yellowstone.

Important Notes:
1. Remember to bring you national park pass!
2. Friday night we are camping along a river so if interested bring your fishing gear
3. GMRS or FRS radios for trail comms

I am envious - the Grand Tetons are amazing.
And if you know French...

Gordobe thinks he has problems posting, I'm doing all this on my smart phone. Jeri is teaching me to post pictures. BobM maybe I will have some.
That's why you need to listen to her!

Next thing you know she will be fixing the AC w/ da smart phone!!!

I'm at camp waiting for the group. We couldn't do today's trail ride, fried clutch disc. The adventure continues with the fix. Standby for more. There's a lot of good stories to be told

Black bear just walked through our camp, not going to lie, scared the sheet out of us. I yelled and he just looked at me and kept walking.
The bear was all like, "Aw hell no I ain't gonna help you fix yo clutch!"

We went through Yellowstone, liked the views and wildlife, but was happy to get out. We were headed to Red Lodge over the Bear Tooth Pass, but I read the map wrong and wound up in Cody. 😁 Imagine that! I'm not sure where we're headed next, standby.
You weren't listening to Jeri, were you???

Came across the fire volcano log. Would have grabbed it for next year but it was 3 1/3 ft in diameter. Didn’t think dragging it home the last 2000 mile was a good idea.

A little envious of y’all who were able to take a long and leisurely way home. I retire October this year so for PP26 that might need to be my plan on the way home.
