Come on all you piggers, anybody on the fence about going to the Party? I've been reading up on the Mcgruder Trail and it's going to be an awesome trip with plenty of views. I'm scrambling to get ready for this thinking it wasn't happening, but what the hell might be the last for awhile with the world going to the dogs. Rethink your situation and if at all in the cards, then lets do this!
I believe @theside00 @OldBeachBob @DoubleNickels and @Owyhee Jackass all have pigs and live in the Boise area, maybe we can talk them into swinging by on the 27th for a meet & greet. I don’t think we could get over the 13 pigs or whatever the number is for the most pigs in one spot but would be nice to have a few extra guys come by for the BBQ/camp fire night.

@TachedOutOffRoad are you planning on bringing the red Pig back to Idaho?

Anytime I hear about a Pig Party, I am on the fence!

So, just looking it would be better for us to stay south and meet at your place rather than going north somehow and meeting. Looks like Hwy. 80 is our main route across. I wasn't sure if 90 would've been better. 3 or 4 days out to you depending if I put it in overdrive or not. :) A lot to do, so I better get crack'n.

If you do take 80, we are just 45 min S of Cheyenne if you need a spot to stop for the night. Let me know.

Or maybe we could just meet up in Cheyenne for a pic of green Pigs!

Can you put a Moody Bobble head on dash so I can be there 😏 🥺😥😢 in Spirit?? I'll behave 😉😘

I’ll send the file over Monday morning and see if I can get them made in time.

If not I’ll get some cut local, one way or another we’ll make you the official PP 2020 mascot and you’ll be riding along with the group in spirit.

C’mon Gordobe. You’ve one of a handful of us who’ve made every PP, including that epic slog to Rico. One of your two Pigs ought to be up for a trip north and some adventure.

@MiniPigg looks to be in Boise, been a while since he posted in here...

Thanks for getting me off the couch. I have been silent on this subject because I have been on work overload for the last year and have gone no where and had no time to polish piggies. If this next 2 weeks go well an important milestone will be achieved and I might be able to make the jump. It’s going to be a last minute decision. I am sooo jonesing to make the jump but its a very unknown equation at this time.

Hoping to make this adventure I did pull trigger on trouble shooting my A/F ratio readings to find out my emissions air bypass valve is defunct. Naturally a fellow pigster, abqcruiser, has stepped up to the plate with a possible fix.

For those newbies who wonder why their here, this is a good example of what this sty is about.

Absolutely correct! If it makes it easier, I'm scrambling also trying to get things together. Give it your best shot and see what falls out, all we can ask. Hope to see all of us there.

it would take me 9+ days to make the trip. Would probably trailer the pig the 2,200 miles there.

I know if I take that much time off, it will be tough to make the SSS in Oct with with new FJ1855. Hummmmmmmm

Thanks for tagging me J Mack. If I'm in town, I'll swing out to your place on the 27th. My Pig is on jack stands right now, blew the slave cylinder on the way home from work Friday. Got to kill it at a light and start it in first, gear and 'speed shift' home...haven't had to do that move in a few decades.

Making an order with Cruiser Outfitters in the a.m. as I need a bunch of other stuff for various cruiser projects. So, hopefully I'll have it back together by the end of the week.

Magruder Corridor is cool, scenic, take the off-shoots and checkout the lookouts. The main road can be done in a passenger car, so don't sweat it if your loaded down. Bring a chain saw, there can be some dead-fall anytime of year, esp. if there's storms in the forecast. I think there's a narrower section towards the Montana side that could present a problem for a trailer if you met someone, but its short and there are pull-outs. Camping got busier the closer to Montana side when we did it a few years back. We camped at a look-out close to Elk City side the first night and on the Selway the second night. Got to Darby on a Sunday and it was a ghost town, we had a hard time finding a place to get a burger and a beer.

Hope to see/meet you guys in a few weeks. I'd love to join you, but just started a new job and have very little vacation time and am burning the 4-days I have on a trip to The Maze the following week.

I was thinking about this, but would hate to haul a gas chain saw all the way up there. J Mack do you have a chain saw to bring? I'm kicking around the idea of buying one of those battery jobs "$" sure would be nice on the trail though. Just an idea, I do have a bow saw to bring.
