@scrapdaddy I've got a set of 6 ConFerr mounts that you are welcome to borrow. You're also welcome to the whole rack if you'd like it, but it's in west TN and the rack is for an FJ40.

Okay, Pat who owns Bowfin Cruisers | Michigan, USA got a hold of me last night while he was at the SAS in CO. He said he'll make it happen for me, pretty damn cool I think, to take the time on vacation to contact me over a roof rack. I've been wanting to build a rack for some time and when Pat pulled up to last year's SSS with one on his 55, that was it had to have one.

@cruiserjunktion was wanting me to commit to a date and I’ve been dancing around the question telling him it’s his party so he needs to set the date, as it turns out he was also asking about the 27th so yeah lets make it official.
Friday the 28th we will all meet up at the trailhead, anybody that can make it a day early (the 27th) is welcome to camp at my house and we’ll have a BBQ party camp fire.

I wish I could go. I know my pig will not be ready and that is right about the time school starts. I am a teacher now, so I have to be there for my student. I want to do some easy local stuff first anyway. Gotta iron out the kinks before I put a 4k mile trip on it.

I was going to say I had way less miles than that when leaving for Moab, but I did come down with a bad case of stretchy nuts!.
