We would have to sort out getting an actual BBQ unit there, we can use the parking lot behind the museum to BBQ or we do the R&R BBQ (catered/ordered) food from down the block for ~$12-15/pp
Suggest we go it the easy way and have it catered. Happy to pay our share ahead of time if necessary.
On another note, fired up the new fuel injected SBC and drove the Frankencruiser home today. Still a few hours of cleaning up the Not So Painless wiring in the cockpit and getting oil pressure and temp sensors squared away. Cranked about three times and fired right up on the first attempt.
There’s a light at the end of the tunnel and it doesn’t appear to be a train.

R&R BBQ is top notch! It is also very close to the museum except they don't have a lot of seating or parking.
These guys followed my wife home from her Texas trip. At least one will likely attend the Pig Party...but only after his ears turn from Voodoo Cruiser green to Nebula courtesy of my remaining spray can.
We can perhaps setup some tables at the museum and eat there if that is a workable option.
I might have some blue paint floating around the shop if you want to make it a male pig!
At least it won't be pink!
BBQ and I are always a workable option!
My new tents are here. Got a pop up shower/potty tent and a knock off Trasharoo. Just need a completed pig now.
Rooftop tent with annex. ARB touring awning with zip on walls and floor. We’ve got a three bedroom Pig. Still might have to beg showers from you though.
I thought about the RTT, but I think the only way I go that route is on top of an offroad trailer.
My normal tent practically needs a building permit to erect so I bought 2 smaller ones that should only take 5 mins or so.

We should probably have a plan at this point...
I talked to the Ranger out of the Kamas office, she said the Soapstone campground is open, but the trail options are very limited. There may be some options around the Strawberry area. I can try to talk to Kurt @cruiseroutfit before I leave for France, but I am running out of time.
@mbradshaw has been kind enough to send me details about the Relic Run of 2016, and it sounds like it might be a nice alternative for everyone:

Looks like it’s about 360 miles give or take with a fuel stop in the middle, plenty to see and camping options along the way.
