Thanks all, I am just starting to feel a certain nagging sense of reality hitting me...

My Mom is having some health issues and might be wise for me to have some vacation time available to help out. I have a sister local to her, and she has been taking the lion's share of the burden of helping out with Mom. If I take the time off for Pig Party, I don't have much left in terms of hours I can take off. We had planned to make a trip out east for a cousin's wedding this fall and introduce our boy to some older aunts he has never met. It is becoming rapidly apparent some of these people won't be around much longer...

In less important, but more aggravating column, my DD is being a complete PITA. So I will be wrenching on that vehicle this weekend while the Pig weeps quietly in the corner, neglected.

We're just raking you over the coals a bit. We all know too well that life has a way to rub reality in our face right when we least expect it. Hope your Mother gets better and tell your Son I feel sorry for him, to go through getting hugged by those "Older Aunts". Man do I remember what that was like.

My wife has been home for 2 1/2 weeks after 8 weeks in the hospital and fehab. Still dealing with double vision and balance issues. She still thinks we should come to PP2018 even if it’s in a 100 series. I admire her determination, but not sure how feasible it would be. Actually thought we would make it this year in a pig, but life had a different direction for us. Will be there in spirit at least.

I’ll be printing extra shirts for those not able to attend. If everyone is good with this design, please let me know. I’ll start a thread with a poll for sizes.

I like the “if I don’t make it”. It sounds like there is some hope you’ll be there.
