I can't believe I am even asking this, but I have an illness that keeps me from throwing away original Pig parts.

Does anyone going to the party want this nasty ass cargo area floor mat? Free...

To all Pig Party Attendees:

I reserved Campsite #1 long ago for the Pig Party but unfortunately will not be able to attend the 2017 event. The site is a 60 ft pull through and I hope the group can utilize it accordingly. Staging point for daily rides? Extra parking spot for trailers? Wrenching point for rigs that may require repair? Overflow site for last minute attendees? It's open, so please take advantage of it!!!!

Do we plan on using VHF/UHF Dual Band Radios or CB on the trail runs?

Anyone have frequencies that we’ll use?

Bummer!!!
I think anyone who can't make it, but is giving a space to the cause, will get a few Pig Party 2017 die cut stickers mailed to em. If there's extra shirts, I'll volunteer to buy ya one.

You gotta have HAM for a Pig...

I dont know alot about radio so maybe this isnt any help. I have a license through my work that we use for our surveying. Our call sign is WQBJ719 and we generally broadcast 450-470 mhz. Is this something we can use?

Cruise Moab protocol is every vehicle on a run has at least a CB. Least expensive way to keep everyone in communication. No handhelds.
Not suggesting we make it mandatory but I'll have mine. Would be good for at least the lead and tail vehicles on trails to be able to communicate.

Appreciate the offer for stickers and a shirt. I'm bummed not to make it out. The San Juans are incredible for beauty and incredible trails.

I have both but prefer the little VHF handheld Baofeng type radios, programing ahead of time with the cable hooked to the PC is more convenient then programing on the radio itself if someone had a preferred frequency.

Not a big deal I’ll bring what I have and we’ll figure it out at camp.
