I would love to attend this pigalicious event.
I need a way to trailer my rig up that way.
Not sure I can drive that far with a peace of mind even if I bought some AT's to hwy drive.

We're only a couple of hours away, so it's tentatively on my schedule. Might even have those Bob M rockers installed by then and the rooftop tent up top. Great wheeling country...long ago wheeling adventure was driving a '49 Jeep down Black Bear into Telluride. Literally a leap of faith to drive off that ledge up top long before the concrete ramp was poured. Took my first Pig over Imogene Pass circa '08 but haven't wheeled in that area with the Frankencruiser yet.

Sounds like 13 pork bellies can make a June 21 event in Colorado.
Campgound for a couple nights, trail ride additional nights?
Any more wanna belly-up???
Everyone getting inspired??? I'll keep poking at the list if it keeps this party growing.

Cheers, Gordobe

Sounding like we can pull this off. There's nothing like a good road trip and the anticipation, thinking of all the things left to do. I know it's real when my wife pulls out the maps!

I don't think I have ever seen pictures of this one! Is that the Pig that eventually gave her roof to @Elyse LC project Moviestar Pig?

TJ:
The blue and white one was my first Pig...a SBC conversion I bought on a whim in Prescott. Kept it about a year and flipped to a San Diego area buyer. Thought I'd paid too much at the time...but think it was a bargain in retrospect. An AZ/CA '73 pig with one quarter sized spot of rust in the tailgate and mostly original paint.
Bought the body of the Frankencruiser in AZ from Dave gore at 4+ as a parts vehicle sans drivetrain for the blue and white one and the other carcass from Scorcher, who'd removed the roof, rear quarters and front clip. It provided the chassis and running gear, which has turned out to be surprisingly strong. Things kinda got out of hand after that...there were two others I bought and flipped along the way after taking what parts I needed for my build.
Here are some pics...sorry for the hijack. Suffice it to say they illustrate exactly how this disease progresses.

That's a cool story, I want to hear everybody's story about their wagons journey. Very few of us just buy one and get to drive it. Will make great camp fire stories. :)

arthog added to list. What state?

I have this roster on a spread sheet so that its easy to update. Fun fact I don't have is how many heads per pig. PM me info to correct any data for the spread sheet, including heads per pig so I can keep correct count flowing.

Does someone want to suggest an itinerary based on the above mention locations and timetable. That way we can get a jump on reserving space.

I'm not trying to be a trail boss, just doing what I can to keep the creative juices flowing and a great event in motion.

This would be a sweet event in a great location.

A squeal to all,

Gordon of Gordobe.

Lets make this as big a pig roast as possible.:pig:

My pig will most likely just have me in it. However, I do have a friend and his wife that have shown interest in tagging along. They would be in a Taco. Is that OK with the sty? We can all laugh and point at his creature comforts and mpgs.

It will most likely just be me going. I have a set up to sleep in my cruiser, so I will not need a tent or anything. Most camp grounds allow 2 vehicles per camping spot, so that may help in reserving enough spaces for us all.
