Here's progress, and more to come today.

@baldilocks no plans yet for it, was burned in there as a "get it up there" tube for temporary until I get the hinge and clasp all put together. Thought about it a little bit, not sure what I'd put up there. Hi-lift will be between the tire and jerrycans

Not 100%, but plenty for what I need. It showed up today, looks awesome, can't wait to make a mounting plate and get it installed. Got the jerrycans on today, and doing some more planning on hi-lift mounting, possiblly a basket for one of the coolers. My burrito box and ECL kit should be here tomorrow, maybe I can get that together Friday, but its supposed to be 106°. We'll see. Here's a few of today's progress. I'd have gone farther but the adema (sp?) from my wreck wipes me out after four hours. Progress is the main thing.

@Phildoh, somehow I missed your build thread and only just now finished reading it. Looking forward to following your efforts.

I'll add to the several posts wishing you a steady recovery from your injuries. It's disturbing to see the destructive results of an irresponsible teen's decision to drive while on a phone.

I've been especially impressed with your ability to improvise and do this work on a budget. Not having the skills you do, I find myself thrilled to complete a simple job like sorting out the groan in my own PS pump! It's fulfilling to work on such a vehicle, even as a novice, and I'm sure you're finding it therapeutic during recovery.

Hats off to you!

nice, i'll have to look into this, i remember seeing this thread before now, excellent!

@Congo Cruiser thanks! I was off he wound vac for about a week (freedom again!) and then one of the hematomas came back, so I'm back on it again. Its no fun carrying around this darn purse/vaccum pump, and I can only take a few hours up and around before the putting edema kicks in, then I have to elevate my leg for a few hours. I owe much credit to my good buddys Newell, Jeff and Rick, theyve been helping me as much as they can and I wouldn't be this far along without their help! This bumper setup only gets worked on about once a week due to schedules clashing, but that's just more time for the thought train to sit in the station. There is still some temporary things on here, and I need to do the hi-lift mount, and the biggest pain, the hinge and clasp. I always revert back to my great grandmothers saying, slow by slow. She was an immigrant from Malta, and had the best perspectives on things. I only got to know her a short time, she passed when I was 10yo, but that slow by slow always stuck!

This showed up. Fxxxing delighted at the quality, finish, customer service, packaging and even the hand written note I received with it. Badass, now I have hot food on the snow runs, if it ever snows again in CA!

Got the ECL kit in last night, along with an oil/filter change

And, the burrito box!

Love them both. Super easy for those install without a broken leg, took me a little while with a few times of "rest" in there. Maybe today I'll dive into the basic tune-up, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, since the PO said he couldn't remember the last time it was done. Got all the parts from my buddy at Toyota, just need to figure out how to get to the rear three cylinders with this leg issue. Happy Wheelin'!

@yodaTEQ install was smooth, easy, and your online instructions were cake! My only question is in the food warmer tray. I still have the stock manifold heat shield in place, and after installing it, I tapped on it with a heavy finger and it rattles a bit. I tried to hold it upward when tightening, and it didn't work too well. I set two large flathead screwdrivers under it as far as possible, re tightened, slid the screwdrivers out, and, no rattle! Can't wait to hit the snow this winter! Thanks for such great products!

Please explain to me how your rear tire carrier works. I'm lost
It's not finished! The tire will have a hinge/clasp right where the vertical tube meets horizontal tube going into the receiver. I haven't had the help to finish it as much as I hoped, I haven't been in the cargo area in a couple months! The jerrycan side will be fixed in place, and removed at campsites individually. The spare is so tall for three things, clears the taillight, clears the license plate, and, when it hinges, the tire will clear the tailgate in the lowered position.

Been busy the past few weeks, but I'll try and get on here and update what I've been up to. I've done the dynomax downpipe, high flow cats, muffler, and all new 2.5" piping. Winch is on the way. Jerrycan holder now hangs out with their ugly cousin, my hi-lift.
