It's in behind the flip-over chrome piece on the rear hatch. Did you flip it open and no lock cylinder, or did you look and didn't see anything, but didn't know you could find a "hidden" lock cylinder? (Yes, it's happened to a guy who bought his truck new 23 years ago and didn't know it was there.....)
Hahaha, I forgot its under the cover! #noob for sure! I'll check again tomorrow, now that I was reminded its under the cover

On a lighter note... Gonna flush the power steering system sometime by the end if the weekend with this stuff. The pump (reman, about 2 months old) doesn't like dealing with the 37's very long before groaning, and having to kick the throttle a bit for it to work. @LandCruiserPhil swears by it down in the AZ heat, so I'll give it a shot before getting into an aftermarket cooler.

Only does it in low range, low speed in the rocks when I'd be getting the fluid hot. As soon as I'm back in high range in dirt IR pavement it works fine so it seems to be the heat from what I've experienced. Hell, maybe I'll pick up a cooler if I can find one on the cheap

@Apounder I went on their website, and found them, a buddy has them in a 60 series but they were a little big for the truck. They're tight in the 80, but doable. I purchased their mounting brackets with them, one fit perfect in the factory holes, the other took a little massaging but we got it in. Here's the link to those, Baja XRS is the model. Took about a week for them to conform to me, and I love them. If I did it again, I'd look into the lumbar option more as I didn't, and after about 6hrs I do find myself moving around a bit, or just needing to get out and stretch. Overall, I'm happy!

And as far as that PS cooler, something like this would work for the price. The trans cooler is a bit larger than the "P/S" cooler they offer. This one has barbs, and there's one with fittings as well. Pros and cons anyone?

I couldn't pass up the deal so I ordered another one too. Don't even know what I'll do with it. Came in today.

@jcardona1 I held it up, fits great in my rack opening, so one front and one rear. And now I have a 46" one I overpaid for. Too wide for anything now, might make a magnetic mount and a long harness on alligator clips, for setting up camp in the dark (which I really hate doing but sometimes it's a must), or mayyyyybe, mounting it on the hood, as close to the cowl as possible. I set it up there to check and no obstruction to vision. I just think it's overkill at this point, and no close homies to give a good deal to that have a rig without lights already. Oh hell, super duper rock lights! Jkjkjk!

@GW Nugget man a fre, advertised at 30mm, just mic'd at 29, so 1-1/8, 1-3/16" ish. 45 bucks. Shipping was a doozey, being less than 5hrs away and weighing less than 5lbs

Oh yeah, so my buddies helping me install the lift a month or so ago were chatting and a roof rack came up in conversation. I mentioned I wanted something as minimal as possible for the lightweight, space robbing items like sleeping bags, a tent and so forth. The next day one of my buddies (shop foreman at a Nissan dealer) shows up with rack. He said it's off an xterra when I asked. So last weekend, four bolts and a few holes later I have what I want for now. And the light bars @jcardona1 mentioned fit perfectly and will be going on asap. What's the best place to go through the roof with wiring? Maybe Jose can enlighten me on this

Ask @AMMO about roof wiring. He's got a big light bar up there with a nice plug to a harness.

I was going to chime in but say he has his rack behind the sunroof...

If you were forward of the sunroof you can pop up through the sunroof controls without dropping the headliner.

I've run lights up to the back via through the rear hatch, not super clean, but does the job just snaking them up through the seals.

Today hurt. Ordered Yukon 5.29's, install kits and solid pinion spacers. Yesterday I dropped off the rig (ftr, her name is LaFawnda, she's fat, tall and has a big old butt!) to have a buddy's shop put the spacers in the front, so I'll pick it up in the a.m., then getting a pioneer 2700 put in, and new speakers. Not having a CD player sucks, so the DVD modelnwas a few pennies more, will keep the kid happy on long drives. Also ordered a spare tire receiver mount I'm going to mod into a jawbone style side drop, pintle mount, off towards the passenger side. It'll take an afternoon or two to get it together, but I'll be in it at $79 now, about 120 all done. I'll take pics of the tire carrier and document it for those trying to save a buck as well. Can't afford a swing out bumper for a long time.

Did you ever install a new PS cooler? Mine is stock with 315's and my pump is new not reman. I run the Rubicon and see PS temps as high as 175-180 with no degradation to performance. Just wondering if you solved the groaning issue.

This weekend I'm going to flush the system and try the hydraulic oil first, and if its still groaning then I'll go to a better cooler. If its still fubar, then I'll look into a better pump. I bought an Autozone pump, which I'm hoping isn't the problem. A $300 problem.

LED lighting installed. Thanks @jcardona1 , best $38 lighting I've ever bought! They're brighter than anything I've ever owned! They fit the rack great, one front one rear, and i have the brightest reverse light in the world! Took a while to build the harness', run through the roof, out through the ild trailer harness hole, along the frame, and up to a power supply strip i put in. Big thanks to ky buddy Jeff, for the all day help and into the night!

These little gems showed up today, another $38 (all 4) well spent! Now to figure out where to mount the front two... Rears will mount inside frame rails, shining across to the outside of the rear tires. Front won't work that way so I'll have to dive in and see what room I have to work with. Where you guys have your front rock lights mounted? I don't want them within sight when walking around the truck, always liked rock lights tucked away underneath.
