It was just over 70°F here in western MA on Wednesday, so I took a few hours off from work and got my '77 FJ-40 started, to pull into my shop for some work. Last time I had it out was doing some driving in our fields with some little kids, but it looks like I picked up nail or something afterwards.

Hah, yeah man! We usually get some warm days in the winter, but this was *really* warm. Of course, on Thursday, we got more snow.

As a side note, I've been having a hell of a time fixing that flat tire. After trying all the of tricks / tips I know of, I think I found that it's actually a defect / problem in the bead of the tire. The area where the bead won't seat looks like the bead has separated from the tire a bit.

Here is my FJ40, Goose, affectionately named by my daughter by the way the horn sounds! Showing signs of red primer peeking through on the front fenders and a little rust in the typical spots. Runs like a champ, great opportunity for my kids and I to spend time together in the garage and a blast to drive. Would like to stop the rust, but don't want to repaint her anytime soon. Plus - the dents have stories that I'd hate to cover up!
