Got a chance to test out the new long-travel rear setup with the AHC spacers and 80 series shocks in the back

Interested to see this at Relic Run/meet you/talk more about this!
Ah, man! Sadly I had to pull out of Relic Run last minute. I'm donating a box of Cruiser Patch supplies but had something come up. It's on my calendar for next year though! I hear it's an awesome event

Bummer but I get it. Im pumped itll be my first cruiser event. So those are perry rears? Doesnt seem like the axle is getting hit square on? Are you planning to adjust your holes in the extension you made to offset it so the bumps land square on the axle? I just switched from my OME shocks to ICON 2.0s. I only took measurements in the rear jacking up from the center of the bumper until the shock extended fully and started lifting the axle but im super pumped to get offroad. Measured from the ground to the bumper and I could lift up 3 more inches on the ICONS before the axle started to come up.

Yeah I made a mistake in my measurements with the spacers so the rear bump stop is hitting the axle at a weird angle/spot. Build, break, repeat (nothing broke, but this is why we do it! problem solving...)

Hey Im right there with you and will be doing the same thing once I actually get flexed enough to see where it will land and how much offset I will have to build into the spacer. Currently just extended mine .75 inches (no shock mount changes yet) so I should be near or ok for now.

My truck has been neglected pretty hard over the winter...attempting to make some changes and do a little maintenance while I've got time before GSMTR and Cruisers on the Rockies...

First up, the new 12V fridge found a home. I swapped the sleeping platform around so that the open space was on the passenger's side. Used a ratchet strap to secure the fridge to the drawer (feat. @ga12r1 tie-down point) and to the floor of the truck.

Takes about 30 seconds to remove the fridge, if so desired. The sleeping platform has also been re-carpeted and strengthened a bit. Storage space located underneath.

I'm rewiring my 12V setup and will more than likely terminate an outlet/fuse block in the center console. Not totally sure yet- wiring takes me a long time because I like to do it the right way one time.

I measure 5'11" in height which is really the only way this setup works. If I was much taller I wouldn't have much head room or leg room...it's all give and take...

Been dealing with some small problems that i’ve neglected to fix since the rollover.

Finally figured out why my mirrors haven’t been working. When I replaced the driver’s door I assumed everything was operational in the donor door- the small mirror ECU (yellow box) was not working.

Much easier than replacing the harness (already stripped it from my original door for troubleshooting).

Man it’s so cool to have functional mirrors again 😂

Finished my 12V layout for now. Solar will be a great addition one day but in the meantime the AGM will do the job.

The subwoofer deleted itself when i rolled this thing. Sure it might be nice to have one but cold food and camp light are more important to me

I can always change it up if needed 🤷🏻

Added a “120V” switch and a chase light switch (actually the symbol for fog lights) to the front. ATM the 120V switch just closes a relay which is connected to a charger for my powerbank. It’s on an IGN dependent circuit so as to avoid draining the battery

I blew the bump stop out before the tipping- otherwise, I'd say 'I agree.'

I have run into a few issues getting warranties since the roll 😂 maybe I should buy another truck in a different colour

"Tipping " sounds like what happens first. This man "dropped" 😅

I don't know if we'd talked about your bump stop breaking before you put Perry's on it. I'm very curious, had you noticed any difference in the material as it aged prior to breaking? Did it get hard or developed stress cracking like an old rubber bushing? What was it that finally led to its demise?
