Might not be the best place to ask but I'm looking for shop space in/around the Atlanta area (preferably the north east corner).

It's time I finally do this thing since I keep turning away work. I'm inexperienced with buying or renting commercial space so any help would be appreciated.

Also looking for a place to live soon (ideally for two people)

I know of a residential agent...

Still waiting for a few more parts to arrive from Japan but the OEM tire carrier installation is nearly complete.

The hardest part by far is the upper reinforcement plate behind the quarter panel. Its welded to the d-pillar so short of cutting the whole body apart my best solution was to grind it off the overseas d-pillar reinforcement and re-weld it onto mine.

I’ll be gusseting the tire mount as well since I chopped it off and welded it up higher on the arm. The OEM location was so low that it was nearly level with the rear bumper…

Patch's 99LX rear diff drain vs Mom's 98LX rear diff drain

IMG_1814.jpeg

Designed these suckers to be welded over the drain plug ring. It's a bit of a tight fit so the next batch will have a slightly larger ID.
These fit just about every Toyota solid axle I've checked including 4runners, front axles from 80 series, etc. If it ain't broke- Toyota won't fix it.

riddle me this batman: won't the extra material of the new protective ring be mushed over the drain plug, thus preventing getting socket on?

I recommend using these 10mm allen plugs for easier removal. I've damaged the six-point head type in the past- lots of fun to get those off.

There's already extra material from the factory protective ring which has begun to fold over where the socket-type drain plug would've been on my drain plug. I'm still able to remove mine but after a few more whacks there won't be anything left to protect the drain plug head. The ring I'm welding on is basically a replacement for the material that's been scraped off over the past 4-5 years.

In the photo of my hand holding the ring it's not sitting flush where it would be when welded on- (imagine pushing it in farther towards the pumpkin).

A buddy just mentioned these to me: Torsion Bar Set – Toyota F100, Land Cruiser (Late Model) & LX470 Gas – Sway-A-Way - https://swayaway.com/product/torsion-bar-set-toyota-f100-land-cruiser-late-model-lx470-gas/

apparently they're hollow and flex like no other. According to the engineers they're designed to require zero indexing but to flex like hell off road.

I may scoop up a set after I let him test them out lol. Just posting these so I remember them for later
I run sway-a-ways. PO put them on. I haven't really tested their limits though...yet. :-)

Yes but without removing any thickness from the collar itself.

IDK if it could just have a crap ton of weld added to it without causing issues inside from the heat.
Jb weld generates no heat, just saying!

What rear links are you running? And is that one in the last picture bent, or is it the photo? I've bent OEM ones on the driver's side twice but recently upgraded to MetalTech 4x4 ones. Just curious since you wheel your beast much harder than I do mine!

These are Ironman4x4 and they’re bent to hell and back. I actually flipped them 180 during this install so that I bash them straight again at Cruisers on the Rocks 😂

Planning to run metaltech or dobinsons next
