Have you tried to start it with the MAF unplugged? Based on what I have seen it should idle?I bought one at NAPA. I just ordered one from AmToy. The description in that fellas post is exactly what is happening to mine.

We didn't. I will do that next time I'm at the truck.Have you tried to start it with the MAF unplugged? Based on what I have seen it should idle?

I just talked with the fella helping me. I don't remember checking the wiring to the MAF, just the TPS and the cam sensor. He said we did. I will double check when I'm at the truck.I'd try that before ordering a new sensor. Just to see what happens.
EDIT to add additional thoughts.
If it idles with the MAF unplugged, substitute the MAF with a known-good one. Perhaps a borrowed one? If it doesn't work with a known-good unit it has to be in the wiring to the MAF, no?
I ordered a 22204-75010. I saw the -0C010 number cross referenced at Rockauto. The -75010 was on the truck, and the EPC said it wasn't for my year engine. It also said the -0C010 wasn't for my year engine. I ended up confused and called Don (@AmToy) with the VIN of the donor truck. The -75010 is what he came up with, so I went with that.Is is a 22204-0C010?

The MAF is in the next state over, so Friday at the latest. How long until you get your MAF? I could look at mine tomorrow to check part number and send it to ya if it’s going to be a while so you can test with it.
What air intake tube did you go with the connect to the air box? That’s one that’s I’m still dealing with.
Keeping the intake air as cool as possible was my goal. I'm looking at trying to tie it into the fender like a modern car.I did the cut and bolt too for the MAF. I think it looks the cleanest and fits better than an open air filter right over the exhaust manifold. I need to finish up my air filter connecting so thank you!
I was thinking of trying to figure out how to run mine up to the cowl area for drawing in cool air. I think I remember seeing a post on pirate of someone who did that for a 22re and it stuck out as unique. Mine currently only pulls from the fender and it’s a pretty narrow area.Keeping the intake air as cool as possible was my goal. I'm looking at trying to tie it into the fender like a modern car.
I only had a short putt in the truck this afternoon after I got it running. All I can say is this truck is a completely different beast. Good riddance on the 22RE.congratulations. you are going to love it. Definitely jelly of that sc.![]()
The 3RZ is basically 2/3 of a 1FZ. It should serve you very well.
