Ok I put my order in. So how does the payment usually go? I wonder if it would be easier to setup a business paypal account and tack on a little extra for the payment to cover the 3% fee or whatever.

Nick I reeived your cashier's check today and updated your record on the intranet to reflect so (copy below). Thanks,
Ricardo

Just checked in on the order and looks like only a couple of folks have paid. I got my money order today and just wondered if the last few posts gave the group the cold feet? I really want a top from Eshan. What is everyone thinking?

cool, thanks Ricardo, just playing "the devil's advocate", no disrespect meant, it is a shame that we have to be so cautious in this world today, best of luck to everyone!

I think you have a very valid point...Another of my hobby is collecting watches and there are times I have buy over the Internet sight unseen from sellers I have never known before. And of the thing I usually do to pay by paypal with credit card and always ask for references (from previous buyers) before I send the money over. With 10 orders, it means the total pot is about $10,000 a very large sum of money (to me, at least).

Again I don't mean offend Ricardo.

A couple of points (3 actually):

1) I am not selling anything. Ehsan is. This is not the first time a buyer's group is put together to save money on shipping costs. Everyone who has posted on this thread and/or joined the buyer's group I am helping organize through the intranet tool I've designed is welcome to join any other buying group, withdraw their name from the list gathered-to-date, or deal with Ehsan directly, solo-style.

2) I am happy to return anyone's cashier's check or M.O. who gets cold feet after mailing it to me, as long as it's before I wire Ehsan any money. I actually have a very good day job that pays me well. I don't need to swindle anyone on this thread to make ends meet.

3) Anyone with an inclination to post a negative comment should consider following their opinions with an idea on how to do it better and/or offer to volunteer to organize a buying group themselves as an alternative. I will be happy to turn it over, frankly, for the sake of the buying gtoup to move forward. I can use the time for other pursuits, including putting extra hours on my resto project.

This has been the best way to organize any group till date. I am impressed by the detail and the accuracy that the database tool comes with. Ricardo. You have my full support.

Ricardo, I want to thank you for all your work, I just was wondering what was going on. I have been saving for this top for a few years, to me this is a large amount of cash.
I didn't want to offend you in any maner, just curious what the other buyers where thinking. You will have my money order within the next few days.
Once again thanks, Bill

Please use my Yahoo emaill address

I think Ricardo is doing a hell of a job.:)

Thanks!

I am requesting of everyone that you not try to email me using IH8MUD email box because it fills quickly with 30 messages of any kind, so it's a pain to have to delete reference stuff and I am loosing emails because of that. Please send all emails to my pportmd@yahoo.com address to make sure I can receive it and save it for posterity.

Other costs once shipment arrives to USA?

NO it's not prepackaged you have to repack it agian. If you lucky custom won't tear off name tags.

Can you share with us the approximate dimensions of a box of bows and top (LXWXH), the cost of repacking each order and the average cost of shipping via UPS within the US?

Thanks in advance,
Ricardo

Payment Past Due

pportmd are you heading this up now? I was under the impression that roberto was going to handle this order.

Makes no difference to me, we just need to get the ball rollin on this asap.

Ricardo,

My order is correct.

Thanks for your hard work.

Tony

OK Tony and Matthew, everybody else is paid up! If I do not hear from you or receive payment within the next 48h I will assume you are out and your order will be deleted from the database Monday after 5PM Central Time.

Happy Father's Day to everyone!

Ricardo
