Heather, see you in the am. Roadtrip!!

I will be behind you all and hope to be there in my Ford Exploder by dinner time :)

cruising up the intestate right now... hour from atl. (in-cruiser internet) for all who havent left, see ya'll there!

i might be twisted into doing a night run...

Hey Eric, will see ya there. I was in Auburn yesterday! heading out after work.

Hey folks,

Just a quick note of thanks to all of you for your fantastic hospitality this weekend. My first trail ride could not have been better than with such a great goup of people.

Special thanks to John for letting me ride for the first half of the trip, to the trail team for putting their FJC in my hands... don't think they knew what they were doing any more than I did!... and to Allen for letting ride out the downhill with him and his beast. And, of course Dan and Heather for letting me know this event was happening and inviting me to invite myself. Allen, thanks for the food... now I know why there was all the hype!
Your hospitality was more than expected.

I look forward to seeing all of you in the future... and if I'm lucky, showing you my FJ40.

Steen (Member: FJ40 support group... members, Alex, Steen, many others I'm sure)

Wow!

This trip helped cure my 40 blues (See FJ40 Support Group above, Steen H, President)! The best part was meeting all you new folks!

The Trails Team made a believer out of me. What a ride! Real pros at what they do best. Many thanks to all you guys (Rod, Robby and Chris) for sharing the knowledge and being so patient with the 4,000 questions you fielded. I hope we will have the opportunity to have you wheel with us again.

Of course the highlight of the trip was the experience and the food. Expertly handled by JP and the ever-working-like-a-mule Marshal Shepherd. Thanks to your tireless efforts our club has come a long way and we are all enjoying every minute of it.

Hey...you folks who didn't make it...I wish you could have been there!!!!!!!

Ooooops,

Marshal, my "Allan" above was a typo. I know Allan can't cook... and I know you can.

Sorry and thanks!

I second that motion. Thanks for inviting me or allowing me to invite myself :). Thanks to Dan, heather & Robbie for helping bring my FJ back in one piece. Marshall, like I said somewhere else. I'm sending covert ops to steal that rotel dip recipe from ya. Excelent food and thanx, and pretty much thanks to everybody for the hospitality and putting up with me "trying" to go through the obstacles. Hope to see you guys in the future but with new tires that is :).

P.S: Selling FJC model $1100 or 5 Mounted 33x12.5x17 Muds ;)

Had a blast this weekend as usual. Thank you Rod, Robby and Chris (FJ Cruiser Team) for coming and spotting for us and showing us what the FJ can really do. It opened up my eyes. Thanks JP for putting together a great event. It was good to meet the new folks and now new friends. Now on to the annual meeting next weekend!. Thanks everyone for making a great weekend.

P.S I have lots of pics and video I will have the pics up tomorrow.

Huge thank you!

I just wanted to echo Steen's thanks from ATL. We had a great time wheeling with y'all this weekend. The eating and drinking was pretty good too (props to Marshall!). Thanks for a great weekend and I'll get some of my pics together too.

On another note, if I'd like dual citizenship with Georgia Cruisers and Upstate Cruisers, would that work? I'd love you join you more often!

Heather:

You may join us at our annual meeting the 19th, Sat. when we take collections for memberships. Or you may send your info and dues to our Secretary, Mary Hardin at Mhardin@BBandT.com.

We would be thrilled to have you join us! Great meeting you, Say "hello" to George for me;)

Thanks for everything UC crew! That was a great event! I had a blast with everyone and I hope you all enjoyed the chaos that are my boys :) (I love em!).

The trail ride was really impressive. I don't think you all are giving yourselves enough credit here. You had no major mechanicals (that ate the day anyway) and still got 15 trucks across Tellico...6 FJCs, 2 with street tires in the RAIN!

Well done all, great to meet you all (or see you again as the case may be). Look forward to the next ride...perhaps I can drive an 80 next time instead of leeching on Hez ;)

I echo the membership thing...dual citizenship may be in order since we all seem to haunt the same trails.

Great

Sounds like a great time. Hope to see the pic up soon. Can't wait until this weekend to see everybody.

-Travis

Good trails, good food, good people.

Had a BLAST!!!! I'm in the same boat as Alex....this trip restored my faith in my 60.....after not wheeling it in 2 years it didn't skip a beat...but would not have been possible without Robby's expertise....nothing like a field surgeon making my cruiser run like a champ.....a million thanks to you Robby. Chris, Rod, and Robby thanks so much for comin out east and wheelin with Upstate Cruisers, I and all of us learned so much from you this weekend. I look forward to wheeling with you guys again!

Well I think the first OTMT was a great success; great food, company, and excellent wheeling!!!

It was great to see so many new faces in the crowd, I believe we had four different chapters of TLCA represented there and even had an FJ cruiser fan show up from as far away as New Mexico and join in the action :D. We had a Total of 14 landcruisers and surprisingly the FJ Cruisers made up the majority, and I very impressed with their off-road ability even in stock form. It was a wonderful and beneficial treat to be lucky enough to have the FJ Cruiser Trail team there spotting us and letting us beat on their rigs :D....... a big thanks goes out to Rod, Chris and Robbie for all they did. Also would like to thank Marshall for keeping us "fat and happy" as Heather put it so well...... and also a thanks to Alex for all his hard work in getting this event together and making it flow smoothly

Most of allow is was great to spend the weekend with a bunch of cruiser heads rambling through the offroad paradise that is Tellico........ it was just what I needed!!

I hope to see all of you back there next year and thanks again to everyone who came out and made this a truely awesome event

JP
