Maybe next time! If not, there is always GSMTR.

Don't forget the soon to be anual MLK weekend trip to Tellico.

Chuck, you know I have a 2 pair of lifted springs for a 40 just sitting at my house. Right.

And are you planning on comming tomorrow and getting the tools and table. He really wants the stuff gone.

And the Table saw he said he would sell for 200.

Yeah I plan on comin to get the table tomorrow, probably in the afternoon sometime or evening, which ever is better. Just let me know. I'm assuming the grinder and press come off the table, and do ya think it will fit in the back of the 60, if not I'll bring my trailer.

How lifted...I doubt I would have time to put them on anyhow between now and then. Not too worried about it. The rear fenders are pretty beat to hell anyhow by the POS previous owner...so it would look better with them cut .

Now there's a cruiser in a position to be worked on. I like it!

Virgo if the pig and I were going I'd follow you up any trail there. Granted I wouldnt make it half as far but I'd still beat the pig trying. But I have been recruited to the ATL to use my truck for moving furniture now. Sounds like you guys will have an awesome trip though I expect to see lots of pics and maybe some damage.

Had an idea, since I don't have sliders I don't want to hit the trails yet without seeing them but what if I drove up with the convoy and road the trails shotgun with one of ya'll??? I figured the 100 can carry whatever y'all need. Who knows maybe the trails would be running board friendly. :)

Tad, come on up, I think Matt and Myself are the only ones bringing passangers already, so that leaves Chuck, David, Marshall, Alex, Alan, and John all with shotgun positions available :)

Sounds like a plan

Tad,
Join us. Trail 1 is very friendly. You could drive a caddy up
the thing. No tough stuff all the way to the camping.
I have no spotter. Hint, hint....you'd be welcome to ride shotgun.

Tad if I have a vehicle you are more than welcome to ride with me.

Oh and it looks like I'm going to have it back together by then. :D

You're welcome to come, Tab. I'm sure there will be plenty of Cruiser pilots who would enjoy having an "Assigned Spotter". Like Picard says, "make it so". There wil be several "trail friendly" areas that you can take your 100.

Tab,

I wish I were going, but can't make it. As all the other guys have said, you should have no problem finding a co-pilot's seat to ride in. There are also some trails that your 100 should have little or no problem with, as long as you take your time and drive carefully. Trails 4, 5 and 6 come to mind. Fain's ford is a good spot to get to, also.

Go along and you'll have a great time. Camping to me, especially if you have these guys around, is as much fun as the wheeling.

BTW, Years ago, I used to remove my running boards on wheeling trips, until they were permanetly removed. If your truck has mud flaps on it similar to the one's on an 80, REMOVE THEM, even if you do these easier trails. You will pinch them between a tire and a rock and rip them off ifyou don't.

Both the running boards and mud flaps remove easily.

Good luck to all and have fun.

Jim

hey, what route are yall taking? and when are yall leaving valhalla? if I can sneak away Friday afternoon, I want to try and catch yall.

We're gonna meet in walhalla I believe. JP and I are gonna leave clemson prob between 1 and 1:30 on friday. Gotta make a quick pit stop at Clemson 4 Wheel to get me a bikini top for the 40. We are plannin on meetin in walhalla at 2 so you know the usual, we'll end up leavin between 2:30 and 2:45 so if you leave hotlanta at noon then you should have no problem meeting us. Does someone here have your cell phone?

Where are we meeting in Walhalla, I know I read it somewhere in here but I can't find it. If we don't have a meeting place we can meet at the Ingles there in Walhalla...got a nice big parking lot. just my 2 cents
