Jon I've been running a RDRF1045 for a while... my arb 63 lives on it 24x7 (75% time unloaded) and haven't noticed any issues. I'm using the ARB tie downs that you mention attached to my L-track single point rings at each corner of the RDRF1045. Super solid and no issues. Recently survived a rough 4 days in death valley and I didn't even have to retighten any of the hold-down straps.

My fridge roller is smooth and handles a full 63l (with lots of beer) just fine. I've had no issues with loose items dropping in the drawer.

Thanks Rob, can you provide a closeup of a mounting point?

I had to buy the "shorter" of the two drawer depths, which allows the back seat to still recline one click- which is a lot, if you ever have to sit back there.

Nak, Will my equal length tall drawer fit properly? I am OK loosing the recline capability for now as my kids will be in car seats for quite a few years. This is something I didn't really consider.

Loosing the recline function is disconcerting to me. Good luck with your tasteful mods. Is the loadspotter available?

The girls will be in car/boosters for 4 more years. Not giving them the option to recline might actually be a good thing ;)

The Load Spotter will be available at a greatly reduced cost (PMs only, please don't spam the thread).

But yet it is working.. all day in fact

For your review. Site loading very slow regardless of browser, and the photos weren't loading. I was able to view by opening each in a new tab. No firewalls here. I look at freecabinporn.com all the time. ;)

Edit 2: loads fine on phone which is on the same work network...

Edit 3: Back up on web at 3:55. :)

Back to it. That looks great! The mounts are super clean looking. Those L-Track singles are sweet. Nice work.

Has anyone put a slide on top of the roller floor?
With the ARB 50qt. The roller floor does not extend out far enough to allow our lid to fully open and stay that way. I was thinking about putting a slide on top of the roller floor but not sure it could support the weight when fully extended

Ours is tied down like RobReds been solid for a long time.

Jon...just to add on to what RobRed said. I've been using the full-size drawer with the slide top since I sold the Loadspotter and haven't had any issues with the platform.

I am using the Engel MT45 fridge which is probably lighter than your NL. I keep mine mounted 100% of the time using Mac's tie-down points with Tembo Tusk straps.

This is a great endorsement to hear from both of you guys. Thanks. I never mentioned, I am currently using the ARB supplied D ring mounts and they are working great. Very stout and simple to install. I may or may not reuse them for the fridge. The more I look at it the more I am leaning towards the NL base plate though for the cleanest install possible.

Nope, not in my truck, the top of the full-length second drawer would smack the seat. However according to my friendly neighborhood ARB dealer, I may have installed the lower drawer one notch too far forward, about an inch in from where it could have been judging from the gap on the trim kit. I can put a Nalgene bottle upright between the drawer front and the closed tailgate- kinda have to shove it in there, but it goes...

So when I went to order my third drawer, it was just too close to tell if the full-length would fit up there, even if I were to reposition the whole mess further back. So I opted for the shorter one, since they don't stock those I was pretty much on the hook for whatever was ordered. Also I figured the space towards the middle seats would be handy (and it is), plus I can still tilt the larger portion of the back seat back one click. And I figure a big tote or something will slide up against the back seat either way, regardless of it having to span a small gap up front or not.

In addition to using that non-drawer space, I also stick stuff down by the tailgate all the time, so it's working for me, even though it may be a little unconventional.

Thanks Tim. That makes me feel more comfortable. My drawer handles touch the tailgate right now so I have them back as far as possible. I have about 3-3.5" clearance behind the drawer now. I'm optimistic that the full length drawer will fit fine.

Not at all what I expected, but so much better in so many ways. I got lost for hours...

Hours....

Tempted to look, but my wife already thinks I look at porn here on mud. I guess in a way it is. More like playboy - I read it for the stories :)
