I love it when you puff smoke for the first 2 hours, then nothing until hour 6. Fudge. Kind of hard to adjust shít like that on the Egg. The sweet potatoes (mashed then added butter, maple syrup, nutmeg and cinnamon) were fine with it, the pork wasn't. Missing the smoke ring and the hickory/apple deliciousness.

Meat has been tough to find... We've had good luck at the Farmer's Market and Sam's. Got this Sirloin from Sam's Saturday night and smoked it Sunday morning. It was Good Sunday lunch and made great slices with horseradish for sliders on Sunday night...

Beyond burger with American cheese, roasted veggies, Dutch oven fingerling potatoes, and Jalapeno poppers stuffed with cream cheese/chorizo. All on the grill, all vegan of course. Quite the gluttonous meal for us, but fitting for such a gorgeous day.

So, I get that there are vegan alternatives for American "cheese" and cream "cheese", but is the chorizo alternative like a spiced up boca of some kind? Looks good man!

Yeah, it's just easier to explain to non-vegans that way instead of saying "Good Planet American" and "Tofutti Cream". The chorizo is this stuff from No Evil Foods. Not exactly "spiced up boca" but along those lines I guess : El Zapatista | No Evil Foods

I'll give the beyond meat its due... their burgers are the best "meatless" burgers i've had. Their sausage on the other hand...........

Looks good man. I checked out a couple of the recipes on that page and the Cajun Dirty Rice and Irish Nachos look really tasty!

At first, I thought "Zapatista"....."Isn't that a shoemaker?", which wouldn't bode well, but it's actually "zapatero". The Zapatista's were a Mexican revolutionary army commanded by Emiliano Zapata. That makes more sense!

That looks amazing...would certainly eat that despite not being vegan at all!

Dinner tonight. Note the "green stuff on top of the food". It's all about the presentation!...except when it's too much work.

One of the best meals I’ve made on the smoker right there. Enjoy!
