Geeze Anderson, that might be more damage then when I crashed on Daniel a few years ago. You’re going to find a lot of other things broken from that when you tear it apart. At least it wasn’t straight on so the leaf spring and tire took the brunt of the impact.
If you’re not sore today, you will be tomorrow. For me it was the second day after.

Gravity and steering while pointed downhill is no joke people.

Yeah it was a hard hit, I'm definitely sore now, we'll see how I feel tomorrow. I'm pretty sure the motor is actually shifted some, the mount looked skewed on the aluminum SBC mount adapter plate that's bolted to the LS block.

Probably good timing for the entire drivetrain to be remounted as well as the body on a new frame!

I was thrilled the steering held together though for the tow out of the woods. Had my buddy in his 4th gen 4Runner hooked to my other buddies TJ hooked to me. Had some legit hills to go up. Then my other buddy behind me in his XJ as brakes going down hills just in case. Kinetic ropes are absolutely the only way to go dragging a rig out of the woods. You get jerked around so much less.

It will buff out. Still cannot believe the turn signals are mostly intact. Totally forgot I put the leds in those.

Yeah those turn signals have taken some hard hits, the drivers one has been bent since Beasley knob in like 2022 I think. The last time I caved in the tub

well... I Jumped on over. I gave up my smart phone and got a basic "dumb phone." After a week I have no interest in going back. My new phone has hotspot and I still have my old iPhone to keep in the car to stream music and run car play, maps, etc.

I took one of the kid to the Dr and it felt so good filling out physical paper work. The receptionest face was hilarious when I told her I wouldn't be able to follow her link and I would need physical paper work.

Whatever it was used and rigged up for, you can count on it being ridden hard and put up wet.

It's called a gin pole. Super useful for moving s*** around. I've wanted one on my truck for years, but could never come up with a good place to put the top chain/rope on my 60.

Gin poles were mostly used for pipeliners back in the day I believe.
Oh wow, that's a neat TIL. I could see it being hard to fit on a 60.

Attach top chains to dent puller studs welded on (pick a dent) after you lift about 9000 objects you’ll have a straight body again.

I am thinking, “get a jeep! They know how to have fun!” It’s been nice knowing you all, but I just traded in all my Toyotas and bought a wrangler. See you suckers!

Well sheeet, I am back, jeep caught fire and burned to a coal on the way home from the dealer. Now looking for a gently used Land Cruiser.
