Why is it that every damn Christmas they hold back inventory on a few products to create a buzz? I'm trying to find the Playstation VR starter bundle that was readily available until about 3 or 4 weeks ago. At which point they stopped shipping them to create more demand.

Assholes are now selling them for 2-3x what they paid on ebay/amazon.

Game stop says "we think we're getting some in today - but we're not sure - call back later"... Only to be told literally 5 times, 'we haven't opened the shipment yet - please call back later'. Finally got bored with that and just called the next day only to find out that they didn't get any.

Jerks.

Anyone know of a Target/GameStop/Walmart/BestBuy that has one? None of them will confirm inventory online you have to call the stores...
