^^ :) Reminds me of the "Imported from Detroit" commercials a few years ago :)

I think it might be more accurate to say that those particular cars that were "imported from Detroit" were actually imported from Mexico or China.

I think a lot of the Fiat stuff is assembled in China.

Just a thought..

We are sitting here watching Sunday Morning on CBS and they showed a scene from a movie, Brooklyn street in the early 50s. Of course we noticed the cars parked on the street, beautiful.

It got me thinking about how things were so different then, cars in this case, but everything else as well had style. Even things as plain as a toaster had a stylish flair to it. Take a look at some of the old kitchen wood fired stove/ovens, they were works of art.

I'd bet if we took say 8 vehicles from different manufacturers, all in the same class/size and shaved all the badges most would be hard pressed to tell them apart. My fridge is a big box with two doors and a drawer, antiseptic. Don't even get me started on having a computer on the front of the damn thing.

There was just a whole lot more art involved in manufacturing then. Now, I guess it just costs too much and cuts into profits.

The Oscars are on tonight, and that only means one very important thing..... The Hunt for Red October must be playing in another channel! It's the law.

Ooooh. I kinda like this. Milvans come in 8' and 9' heights. I wonder if you could get a lift under an 9' box. I bet my HOA would find this not as cool as I do, though . . .yes even out in Pittsboro :)

You've got to remember that the roof height is taller than the boxes, and with the gambrel style, drastically taller.

This would be super slick to turn into a shop!! I bet it'd be pretty easy to wall in the back and front, then put a couple of doors in.

I only got to cruise behind this guy for a while but it was still nice.

MGs are cute. Almost bought a late 60's midget at one point. Problem was with the roof on, my head made somewhat of a camel hump in the soft top.

The correct term is "little people" now . . . .

I had two Austin Healy Sprites and a 3000, fit in all of them and I am 6'3"

Damn. What did we say to get all the attention? lol

LCLC IS THE SAME WAY

They probably just added the admins and moderators for every clubhouse. I'd imagine ours specifically isn't the reason.
