SAS it and make it the truck that Mr. T, in his heart of hearts, wanted it to be!

Maybe the weight of the 100 will improve those angles.

it will when driving down the road.... it won't when at full droop off road. Diff drop will help a bit.

i'd love to..... actually my side plan is to build up the 100 with all the armor and extras and then if I feel the need to have a solid axle still import a 105 when they hit the 25 year mark.

That or just but another 80... or 40

I had the pleasure of driving with, and coaching a student last Saturday on a 2016 200 series, and this movie below (not mine) shows a lot of the amazing features and capability I got to witness. This truck is simply incredible. Yes, all electronics, but it was still amazing. The camera system was impressive, cameras under mirrors can actually rotate too, giving different angles. In the obstacle course, this thing can drive itself, on cruise control....

but we still don't get the diesel

packed with electronic gizmos galore but id still go with the 4 door 70.

Too many electronic gizmos for my taste. By the time I can afford one it'll be 10 years old and all that crap will be failing. I'm with you on the 4 door 70 Al but I am leaning harder to the 142. I promised myself a 142 for my 60th birthday.

They do inspire confidence at the least though.

Never driven a 200 but did drive the brand new discovery through an obstacle course a few weeks back.... the tech in that thing puts nasa to shame and makes me believe it could drive up a wall... LOL. It was also more comfortable going over bumps and ruts in the course than my LS430 is driving on the road. Pretty crazy, but yeah when the electronic gizmos start to break the $$$ bills go super high.

Did you see the 80 "rescue" vehicle in some background shots? I am sure it was there for a reason. It did feel like the new Range Robber (no spelling error), tons of electronics to make you look like a champ. Until they fail. Will be interesting to see how the TATA electronics fair over time as opposed to Lucas Lord of Darkness electricals.

Lucas electrics and Smiths gauges, they dynamic duo of electrical failure.

I use these vehicles a lot overseas.

Diesel 70 wagons
Diesel 200 series and
Gas powered 200 series.

With out a doubt the vehicle mostly fought over in the team room is the gas powered 200 series.

It's been my experience over the years that 9 times out of 10 guys will pick the gas powered 200 series over the other 2.

I know that mentality is not shared here but we have our reasons. Although the diesels are very reliable they come up short in other areas.

Took one of the less developed FSR up to mowich lake yesterday.

Andrea had the settings wrong on the camera so the pics of the truck came out really dark... will fix those later.

I'm doing all my east LA homies proud..... going to start a new blog called wheeling on dubs. @shellb I need to get those 16 inch stockers off of you soon my dude. ;)

Kamado Joes are for sale at Costco right now in Apex. They look pretty nice vs my Primo Oval.

I like the Primo's for several reasons, made in America, etc. The XL Oval fits a chaffing dish in it for lots of stuff to include drip pan, cooking beans below BBQ, etc.

Love the features on the Kamado Joe's though - like the smoke stack dial, inner lining, hardware, etc.

I bought a Big Green Egg about 4-5 years ago. Love it. The only problem I see with kamado grills is the inability to load additional wood when smoking. Mine is used to smoke and bake. It's awesome to set a temp then walk away for 8+ hours while it cooks. I also like how little fuel it uses and how it preserves what's left when you close off the vents. A bag of lump will last a long time compared to briquettes on a grill. I might only direct grill on it once a year - I have a Weber Smokey Jr for that.

The one at HD comes with a stand and a cover. Nice.

power steering on my 60 has had a slow leak that seems to be getting worse. How hard is the rebuild? Is it worth saving the $ to rebuild or is the time investment not worth the savings?
