@truebluetouring I have a set of Parabolic springs for a 75 series on order from Westralia Springs. Plan is to fit them up and then order suitable Bilsteins when I have measured it. Problem is Westralia Springs ( and I suspect other spring manufacturers in Australia) are having supply issue problems from the factory in Malaysia.
 
From what I gather the only modifications I'll have to do are:

1. Move rear hanger back 5 inches

2. Grind a bit off the bushes to make them fit?
I have the OME kit on mine and yes it is a great upgrade.
Kurt @cruiseroutfit put a kit together with and it is straight forward to install.
I'm sure if you reach out to them they can help you with all the bits and pieces to get you up and running without fiddling with grinding bushings.

If you click on the link below, 1977 FJ55, there are lots of photos. Suggest you try the first page and the last page. The PO had my kit installed but I'm pretty sure that the kit came from Cruiser Outfitters as well.

It's advertised as around 2" so I assume so. I have no before and after measurements. Ride is very good although admittedly I haven't been off-road much.

The difference in bushing size is my favorite part. The 75 series rear bushings (front also?) have an 18mm ID and a 45mm OD, which is significantly larger than the 55’s.
I this pic the 55 bushings are red.

any mods on front steering assembly needed? mine is manual steeing.
thinking about a 2 or 3 inch alcan lift.

Be careful with the larger OD bushings and the extra load from the arched springs, they will allow for more side load movement that could be a good thing off road in the rocks but not a good thing when you hit railroad tracks at speed and get the death wobble.
This was not a fun lesson for me to learn.

FYI the bushings that tried to kill me are the exact bushings in your picture, I replaced the thick bushings with these thinner bushings and my issue went away. These have the same OD with a thicker inner bushing giving the rubber a thinner cross section.

But you still keep the 55 size bushings for the frame mounts, eh?
