It's wintertime but it hasn't been very cold nor seems related to cold weather.

Willy B, between my paying gig and this bike shop/bar we opened, I haven't had much social time.

If you do Instagram, look up Piney Mountain Bike Lounge.
Gotcha...

I finally changed my settings after having them on since last August.
Front: Comp 3, Reb 8
Back: about the same as front....the whole shock body kept twisting. Did I read somewhere you need to hold it at the same time with a strap wrench?

So far it felt a little different on the road, but not sure if I consider it better.
Haven't noticed any clucks yet.

I definitely keep a strap wrench in my drawers for adjusting the rears. They will spin all day long unless you are Lou Ferrigno...

They do give you two wrenches if you want to try working them against each other, but it's too hard to get a good angle/grip IMHO.

I thought married men's grip strength is second to none? :grinpimp:

Aw man... I was gonna say how proud of myself I was when my non-broken hand/wrist had a stronger grip that anyone my hand surgeon or hand therapist had seen in at least two years...despite no mountain biking or exercise for 7 months.

But now you done gone & ruined mah Herculean strength braggin! :hillbilly:

Anyone here any updates for the front bp51 non clunking update. I sent mine to arb before I installed them but that was in January and still haven't received a replacement set.

I have a set that ARB has asked me to test for them, Just have not had time to install. Next week I promise

Yes.
This just arrived on my doorstep THIS MORNING (May 9, 2017)... after having received updated rears some time back. Mitch from ARB (the guy who has dealt with all issues since it began) said they would not send fronts until they were finalized. In fact, he told me that again just a couple weeks ago. And they show up today.

-This tells me they are declaring it done. I believe only minor changes were made to the fronts. Different seals, and a slightly different material in the bypass.

Some noise is just going to be a given with bypass shocks, and I frankly suspect we 200 owners need to remember this and maybe turn up the stereo a bit. :hillbilly: Thinkin ARB/OME should send AC/DC or Lynyrd Skynyrd CDs with replacement units...& the clunk would be solved.

Mark your humor is great....turn it up!

Can't wait to hear some notes from your install, mine still clunky and have not heard anything from ARB in a while.

UPDATE:

WHOOOOOOOOOOOP-See-Daisey...

The fronts I posted photos of were sent to me BY MISTAKE, and are not the unpdated units.

There are updates coming...but these weren't the right ones. Something went screwy...and my contact was just as surprised as I was that these showed up yesterday.

Like the pig on Geico commercials a few years back...

"Weeeee!" :eek::grinpimp:

That's a bummer. I waited two months. Painful. Mine were installed about 4 weeks ago. No problems thus far, although warm weather here in my country (Texas), and speed bumps have been the biggest shock challenge to date.

How are the new shocks working? Did they fix the issue?

They still have not released a final front end replacement. Frustrated, as my front bumper goes on in a couple weeks. Hate having to do things three times...(or in my case...pay to have them fronts done again).

I am waiting for the same thing. I want to put on my ARB bumper but want to do everything at the same time. I have a friend that just put the ICON system on his 200 and I have to say it rides great and no noises.
