"STICK A FORK IN IT! THAT PIGGIES DONE" :crybaby:

Thanks all for the concerns...I'm not 100% sure at all at what I'm going to do.

She's fully insured, so at least I have that. It's being towed to Ft. Collins tomorrow, then I"m going to go bring her home for the adjuster to see.

I'm leaning towards parting at this point...as sad as that sounds...this may change...and by parting I mean me keeping most of the stuff that could be put on another...

I should here from insurance by wednesday or thurs when an adjuster comes out...so till then...it's thinking!!!

This gives HUUUUGE consideration to those wheeling a Pig/wagon without a cage.

that would be 99% or so:idea: maybe someone will make a 55 cage kit?
glad you're OK, can you take pics head-on so we see how exactly the pillars and roof folded? I know you get it back Wednesday, no rush just curious as to what crushed and how. Sorry, though it might be the guinea pig ;) for a rash of cages on 55's.

I've seen some notes lying somewhere on someones note pad at the shop for a 55 cage, whether or not he will go through who knows :flipoff2:

I've exchanged emails with him on the topic once before:) I do realize that there are not that many 55 wheelers out there from a business perspective...

Ben.... Very glad to hear you are ok and no one else got hurt. Let me know how I can help when you get the pig home. Also let us know what your going to do when it comes to parting it out. Are you going to build another pig? I hope you will.

On the cage.... there are a couple bolt in cages floating around for the FJ55. I still have not seen a photo's of what they look like. One was on the old pig mailing list which is still active (kinda). I have a fullcage on paper and it is modeled after the one used in the D110's that is built by Safety Devices.

Well the cages are bent up when an order comes through, it would just be the r&d and time to get all the measurements right. Plus all the mounts.

Ive talked with him a few times about a cage with no real progress. I also asked about a nose gaurd but he said it would be 8 months.

I am glad you made it out ok Ben. For those reading this post, you can't imagine that feeling...I was right behind TJ and didn't see it happen. As soon as I rounded the corner I knew something wasn't right. Even before I came to terms with what I was seeing, I knew....that feeling.....I am so glad you wern't hurt Ben.

Things have been extremely busy lately. Tomorrow i'm bending up 6 B pillars, 8 C pillars, and I think 6 sets of A pillars! Mark owes me big time :flipoff2: I mentioned about the FJ55 cage, he has drawings and measurements but if they ever get to use who knows.
