Got it .... I do not like the US style Jerry cans. I actually have 4 of those pictured and two commercial Wedco's

@NCNole

I'll take the washer bottle (if that's what it is)...actually, i'll take it all (minus the carb if it's spoken for). Let me know

Jason grabbed the washer bottle early today already and the hitch, but if it doesn't fit for him, I'll tell him to send it your way.

@NCNole Can I have dibs on the winch until we can talk tonight?

Sounds good! I'm headed to Charlotte Friday evening to look at houses again so let me know before Thursday morning and I can bring it.

Is that a Jerrycan mount for a spare tire in that photo? If so, I'd love to have it. If not, what is it?

That is indeed what it is.... @onemanarmy has first dibs, but if he doesn't want it, it's yours next.

Sam,

Definitely a nice can you got there but I don't think that can will fit the mount in question (old style ConFerr). No bottom lip. It's rounded. Maybe I'm wrong. It's been known to happen. But I have one of these myself and ended up using a Korean War vintage Russacov Jerry Can to get the needed can shape.

Dave

The jerry can I have has a lip and I also think the rounded wouldn't fit based on what it looks like.

Nice..... but that price?????
For that you could buy a used H1 alpha that has over double the HP and TQ even with the detuned version of the Duramax they got and you would still have $40k left over to mod it, build an expo trailer, etc.......

What did Mell Tillis ask Terry Bradshaw in Cannonball Run - "You sure we g-g-g-g-g-g-got enough b-b-b-beer"? Load it up, Jeremy.

Any chance someone could Mudship @Rice 's FJ40 seats to me at Big Creek this weekend? I'll throw in a 6 pack of Grapefruit Sculpin :-) Also need to get some to @lt1fire .

I've decided I want/need a steering column mounted tachometer for the LV. I keep finding myself pushing 70 mph in the old girl and it's so blasted loud in there I can't tell if I'm about to do her some real harm.

Rather than going with a new reliable one from the store, I've decided to search for a reasonably priced period correct tachometer that will go with the truck's patina. I've spent some time on ebay to see what's out there but I'm wondering if one of you guys might have something squirreled away that you'd be willing to part with.

Let me know what you have or if you know someone or a website I should be sure to check.

Have plans to just bring them down Saturday morning since no one from the gso area is going. Then will turn & burn so I can get some chores done at home. See you then.

Anybody want this copy of Mechanix Illustrated? Cover is torn off but pages are still good. It's December 1959. Pretty neat to read the old articles and see the old ads.

I'll take it John, if just for the cover article ....

Yup. By me. Guy lived near the coliseum if I remember right

doesn't look like a 6" lift if those are 33s

No. But the truck can "tuck all four wheels." I wonder if it can do them all at the same time? Reminds me of a Dynamite Hack song...

"Jumped in the fo' hit the juice on my ride
I got front and back side to side"

Eazy-E's version is better :)
