Changing the name of a rig is bad ju ju Very cool rig!!

Jim, if you need a place to store the 45 while you get acquainted with the Landy, Nathan says that we have space here for it...wink wink.

I need to roll the clock back to the first of the month and offer the 45 up for sale at $8k.

Bad ju-ju or not, Nigel has to go. As soon as I clean out the interior and powerwash all things that crawl and slither, that name plate goes in the trash.

Had to work to find space for the old thing.

I like your new project !

I think "Nigel" would be easier to live with than "Crockpot" but in my case the name is pretty much carved in granite so it stays for eternity.

You should be happy that "Dutch Oven" didn't stick.

I have a rear shaft, however, I believe my shaft will have a different flange pattern than yours. I will not be available on Saturday but may be able to take a look at it Sunday.

Great! Thanks for looking. If you want I can take a picture of mine for reference...

Measurements for you to refer to. Are you still running 3 speed and original T-case, or did the engine swap also include going to a 4 speed (or auto)? Obviously engine placement also has the ability to require a custom length. Not to worry .... we can figure it out.

It's a 4 speed. I apparently have a lot to learn about flanges....I was just assuming there were a set of U-joints on either end like on a Jeep CJ....

I'll measure it tonight and see what's what...

Thanks

4 speed is good in that it was considerably stronger than the 3 for small block apps.

In addition to checking out the flange pattern (on both ends) also get a measure of the length since there is no telling what the engine placement did to the stock location.

Man, I'm very gullible apparently... Sent over @lt1fire and @Cirbo 's rigs to friends to consider buying.

Next year I'll get in on the fun too.

I am keen on watching the progress of Nigel, really neat project

Pretty sure there is a long line that has formed for @Cirbo 's 45 ;)

So does Nigel run? Stop? I had to pull up a few pictures because I wasn't sure what the door handles were actually supposed to look like.

Seriously, I thought he omitted a 2, 3 or 4 in front of that price! Awesome vortec, shortened bed and on and on....

Was hoping to see Nigel it at cars and coffee next weekend but sadly it doesn't sound like he'll be there.
