Well i've hinted at it on facebook and talked in length to many at the meet and greet about it but it is time to sell the cruiser.

. . . .

Was this a April Fools Day prank? :)

Anyone know of an enclosed trailer for sale? Got an upcoming move, I’ll look at all sizes as I am not sure what I’m keeping and what I’m taking at this time. Don’t really want to spend money renting one when I can buy, move and recoup by selling again. Trailer brakes are needed.

not looking for anything super expensive though

My only suggestion - get one with dual axles. If you have a tire issue, you should be able to limp to an exit on 3 tires. Not gonna make it on 1.

@weejub
Sorry bud, didn't realize that you had PM'd me about that (somehow missed it)

It was a half joke... the price was the april fools joke, but not by much.
We've had a tradition in this club of someone always trying to "sell" something on april fools day but no one was doing it this year so I put mine up with a joke price. I am selling it though due to major life changes soon and need $$$ to implement them. Really thought i'd be buried in the truck but it is just that a truck after all.

I had updated the original post to reflect that but it had already moved back a page by then.

I did just update it again with new pics on it.

currently i'm in talk with a friend of @CharlestonG8R through Jeremy and he has first dibs on it for the time being. I will let you know if it falls through though. If you are still interested

I saw this LHD 1966 Defender 109 for sale today in Fort Mill, SC. I know nothing about these, but must profess I've always liked the way they looked. $8,500 obo View attachment 1063083View attachment 1063084View attachment 1063085View attachment 1063086View attachment 1063088

I've always liked the old Series Rovers (all Rovers really), but could never actually bring myself to live with one. There's a reason we drive Toyota.
Jonathan Hanson has an amusing piece on Rover ownership:

I was sold on getting a defender last year, since all (little bit) that I knew was from owning an LR4 and going to LR driving school. Thankfully, smarter people helped (Scott Fields for one!), and I was able to sample, sit in a few defenders, and even drive one. Not for me, I barely fit! And everyone (non land rover related) I asked, pointed me to the LC 80.

I have found the cure for land rover defective parts is the same cure for Toyota high priced or discontinued parts

swap a Chevy drivetrain in ;)

Andre wants a discovery one day and I've told her the only way is a complete drivetrain swap.
