For sale for parts. 10 year old engine with 20-25k miles of use. Block suffered a crack in the casting between cylinders 5 and 7. Package is a Turnkey LM4 (aluminum block) 5.3 liter engine with fly-by-cable configuration.

Heads (casting #706), intake, injectors, fuel rails, rotating assembly, pan, pickup, windage tray, and associate parts all appear to be in "like new" condition. It also has a complete stand-alone wiring harness with MEFI-4B computer that comes with a Techmate Pro diagnostic tool and code reader.

Asking price:
Engine -$250
LS Harness/computer/Techmate-Pro - $450

Yeah, I zeroed in on the heads at first, but pressurizing the system and a methodical disassembly led me to a drip on the webbing between 5 and 7. When I pulled the head, I found the following.

do you have a different 40 hood to trade? I have a single piece hood I would trade for a split hood

It is a bit of an assumption that the crack extends down to link the water jacket to the pan, but nothing else makes sense.

Just bought Nathan a well-used '99 LC100. Looking for 100 series LC stuff (Not LX):

Need one OEM wheel center cap for LC 16" wheel
Need rear panel access door for jack and tool kit in gray
Need passenger side headlight glass assembly
Need front corner lenses in decent shape
