For sale for parts. 10 year old engine with 20-25k miles of use. Block suffered a crack in the casting between cylinders 5 and 7. Package is a Turnkey LM4 (aluminum block) 5.3 liter engine with fly-by-cable configuration.
Heads (casting #706), intake, injectors, fuel rails, rotating assembly, pan, pickup, windage tray, and associate parts all appear to be in "like new" condition. It also has a complete stand-alone wiring harness with MEFI-4B computer that comes with a Techmate Pro diagnostic tool and code reader.
Asking price:

LS Harness/computer/Techmate-Pro - $450

You confirmed the block is cracked? That would be pretty odd. It’s more likely the head.

Yeah, I zeroed in on the heads at first, but pressurizing the system and a methodical disassembly led me to a drip on the webbing between 5 and 7. When I pulled the head, I found the following.
