80 series lift parts for sale. ~3”
$300

Slee 4” front coils
OME “j” rear coils
Slee 2” front and rear sway bar drops

You would need extended brake lines, shocks, and some form of castor correction to complete a lift (i’d do plates) And paint or powder if desired. I could have the springs PC’d but it’ll probably be $100 extra. Will include 4 OME ‘L’ shocks if wanted but they are pretty much shot.

What are you installing?

I have a 4" 45* black reinforced silicon tube. I needed a 3" for my snorkel. Brand new. Cost 1 good beer.

slinky 75 mm HD kit.

I’ve got a ‘96 80 series that I’m not going to use as I had originally planned (was going to put a 45 series body on the chassis) and it’s just sitting at a friends fab shop...so I’m throwing it out there if anyone is interested. I picked it up from Dean at H&H back in March and paid $1,300 I think.

Black with baller status gold emblems. Body is in very nice shape (minus funk from sitting at Roxx’s lot through a couple pollen season) and is very very rust free. Interior is poor but not destroyed. Head gasket is shot and will require r&r (it cranks over so not locked up but likely no compression). Comes with an extensive collection of early 2000 ‘summer hits’ on CDs - think Big Pun and Fat Joe tracks.

Would be a good candidate for fixing then driving, engine swap (maybe GM ls/4l65e...could make you a package deal) or part the body then use the chassis for your project du jour.

$1200 and will come with a clear title (I still need to get it transferred into my name...been putting it off). Will need to be towed to wherever. I can possibly help with delivery for asking price but that would only be in the RDU area.

Here is the only pic I have and is from when I brought it back from CLT.

Edit: no factory lockers...

This is off the market for now...I’ve got the itch to build it and drive it. Plan is 5.3/4l65e/203/splitcase which I already have...lift, tires, front and rear bumpers, etc.

I’m on the prowl for anyone’s front arb or short bus bumper, rear 4x4 labs bumper, sliders and 2.5-3” lift.

*SOLD* Just picked up some new rims today. That makes a set of 5 stock FJ60 wheels with FS Destination ATs (31x10.50 and only ~2000mi on 4; 0 mi on the spare) available. Anyone interested DM and I can get you pictures. Asking $700 obo for everything.

Putting my Wife’s 2004 GX470 (Levinson sound and NAVIGATION model) up for sale this week. She has decided she wants to upgrade to an LX570 or GX460. This vehicle has been an excellent vehicle for our family over the years and we have certainly enjoyed it. It’s not perfect (it’s been a kid hauler) but it is a very solid vehicle. It’s NOT been used off road, it’s been a street warrior. Has 205k miles on it. We use it mainly for traveling the country for softball for my Daughter. Doesn’t use oil and we have always used Penzoil Platinum Synthetic. We have just had it serviced at Flow Lexus and had the following installed:

New spark plugs
New valve cover gasket (as soon as it started to leak a little we immediately had it fixed)
New front brakes AND rotors
New front right caliper

It also has fairly new Michelin MS/2 tires (I think around 5k miles on these), so tires are good for a long time! My last set of MS/2’s on this GX had 95k miles on them, crazy how long these tires last and well they perform.

The known issues or upcoming maintenance would be....
Subwoofer needs to be replaced (rattles a little with heavy base)
front rubber CV boots separated at the clamp (normal for these, doesn’t hurt anything)
Timing belt and WP is due in 10k miles
I can’t think of anything else needed.

Nonsmoker vehicle that runs as it should. I MAY consider a trade for a trade for a LX470/100 (for me as an upgrade to my 80😉). I will put a price on this shortly, but I am thinking somewhere around 6k or so would be fair. Haven’t really had time to look. The car is dirty in the pictures but I just snapped a few for reference.

Looking for a complete 1FZ-FE engine. Good condition and low mileage. Even good with a blown head gasket block In good condition. 93-94

If this is for you I’d mention years. I’m guessing it will be a lot easier to stay with the 93/4 vintage.

@4LowandSlow what’s up with the engine? Looks like this one may be for you.

PM rebuild or stroke of misfortune?
Rice may have some pieces left but unfortunately a couple blocks he sourced were deemed non rebuildable. Unless you want to go to 4.6 :steer:

My block has already been bored over already. I lost the ring lands on cylinder 4. Block looks too damaged to go over again judging from my bore scope.

Dang man. That stinks. :(

i forgot your Dad had that motor rebuilt recently but didnt realize he got new pistons and went 1mm over to 4.6. So what happened? That was the same shop you used for Treys rebuild right? Have a friend in Zebulon I was thinking about sending their way but may hold off if you think it was a machining or assembly issue.

at least it sounds like Adam may have a solution for you.

Yup same place. Has 100k since rebuild. I honestly don’t know what happened. I pulled a couple people out last week and didn’t over rev it or beat on it crazy. Just a couple tugs and the winch. Weird that I lost only cylinder #4. Need to pull it apart and find out what exactly happened. I always liked the auto machine shop guys in Fayetteville and they do good work. Never had a problem till now. Here’s the oil I drained out

@4LowandSlow I'd be interested if you think it had something to do with the machine shop. I'm in Fayetteville and will be looking for a machine shop to do some work before too long....rather not go somewhere that is starting to slip.

If the top land is broken then detonation, overheating, or improper ring gap can be the cause. If the second land is broken it pretty much comes down to improper ring gap.

Were the +1mm pistons toyota or aftermarket? What about the rings?

When built right you should be able to flog the heck out of a 1FZ with zero worries.

i think he over reved it pulling some friends out that were stuck but, i don't know. couldn't get a good picture with the bore scope. was kind of bummed and really didn't want to mess with it at the moment. will have to do some more work on it to know for sure. i know it had toyota pistons in it, i think the rings were as well but not 100% .
