Guys,
I’m down in southern FL looking for a clean solid late model 2F. Saw it on a CL search and came here. Does anyone know anything about this engine? It’s just too far for me for a blind craigslist deal.
Thanks...
Hoover Craft? I bet it'll clean up.You should buy it anyways just to see how it would do on the trails.

That joke sucks....
Back in the early 90s, there was professional hovercraft racing. They ran on a course that was half on water, half on land. They showed it on either espn 2 or espn 3 in its infancy (long before espn8 THE OCHO!!!) I almost bought a scat single seat that had been modified for racing, but the guy was only willing to sell both of his hovercrafts as a pair. The second had been pilfered for parts and such.
Blows, too. Now back to our regularly scheduled thread...That joke sucks....![]()

Bunch of extra stuff from bringing back to life the 40 that I don't need and is taking up space. My guess is a few things are heading to scrap heap, but if anyone has a use for it let me know if not I'll post on CL in a week or so. Cost is free or karma beers, just don't have much extra garage space, so moving it out is my goal.
1. Warn winch controller (fits my 8274 but think it came with one I had on an old CJ5).
2. Single spring worth of red Energy Suspension Bushings
3. Bull bar/winch mount
4. Front Bumper - fairly scratched, also had some drilling to mount number 3 above.
5. Radiator - tank is cracked and would need to be recored, but its there. (Worth a shot, probably belongs in dump)
6. Spring Parts - Rear spring perches (full disclosure have one extra hole where PO moved springs back) w/ top bracket not pictured, a bunch of old and some practically new U-bolts (not pictured), 6 degree shims, center pins.
7. 4 HFS extra length shackles 5.25 long
8. 4 Rancho RS5000 shocks - Honestly no idea how old they are, but bushings are in decent shape. 2 RS5116 and 2 RS5113
I could pickup and hold for youInterested in the oem bumper and the shackles!
Hopefully someone in CLT can hold them for me if I can't get down there soon enough.
