@Stuckinthe80s will this be the CM2019 LIVE pic/vid thread? Or are you opening a new thread for that?

Inquiring minds want to know. :)

Been watching the weather. Hoping for 80's. Looks like maybe it will be a bit cooler.

Took a little longer to get going this morning 550 mi. Yesterday took its toll on us. But we are on the last leg with a much shorter drive today 😎 should hit Moab this afternoon

550? :D We did 850 yesterday getting to Topeka, got another 750 today. Left Topeka this morning about 6, currently cruising across western Kansas, should make Grand Junction in time for dinner.

Yep used to be able to drive day and night. But now that I’m 60 not so fun any more. Plus we’re towing, takes longer to cover the same miles. Most of all be safe, see ya there.

Just to get the big picture, towing in California & Nevada,Max speed is 55 MPH. Painfully slow, add mountain passes and curve single line Hwy’s made for a full 12 hours in the saddle. Not the same as going 80+ across the flat lands. And my wife doesn’t drive the tow Reg.

I don’t think that’s right.
I15 through Nevada is higher then 55
I think you can go what ever speed is posted.
Not tell we were past Las Vegas was it posted speed. But your right it was posted speed after that. Not that my Reg won’t do posted speed the Trailer tires L rated = max speed 75 so I set the cruise for 73 to be safe. Coming into Vegas 70 trailer 55 after Vegas was 75 Cross into Arizona & Utah 80 posted

I the best part is we’re here safe and settled in :bounce:let’s wheel, looking forward to meeting you all

Oh I get it. My wife and I towed all over the country a couple years ago. This time we had no choice, it was either make the trip in a 2-day run or not do it at all. Long days in the saddle and my ass is killing me. But we're in Grand Junction tonight, meeting the Monday Kokopelli group in the morning. Finally!

Really looking forward to meeting everyone and just enjoying the week away from work.
